The most significant relegation since Nottingham Forest in 1993

The most significant relegation since Nottingham Forest in 1993.

This is the end of a footballing giant.

Pay your respects to the fallen.

>not Villa in 2016

F, insane how much worse theyve gotten in just a few years since moyes left.

Funnily enough it's exactly the same circumstances in which Villa were relegated too.

>Few years
It's been almost a decade since Moyes left. The downfall began when Moshiri took over.

all miniscule teams btw

in football terms, a decade isnt too long. moyes made everton a very good team, but yeah moshiri is the main reason for their downfall

Literally only Coleman is left from the Moyes days, everyone else in the squad is remnants from past failed managers. The squad has absolutely no identity or purpose.

>moyes made everton a very good team
Let's not go overboard, he made them a good team but he didn't win anything with them and never looked like he would either.

he got them european football which is an absolute miracle considering the squad he had. didnt have much to spend either

Apart from a meme league winner completely overshadowing it.

We'll join them by 2025.
Championship is kino anyway. Fuck Manc plastics.

>britbongs still being deluded that everton will drop
they have 9 more matches and they need 9 points to very likely avoid relegation

Even worse considering how much money they've pissed away.

their fixtures are far worse than Burnley's.

they're done for.

Tbh, the fall started when they hired that snake oil salesman Martinez. Imagine undoing the defensive solidity built by Moyes in months time and buying shitters from his old Wigan team and bumfuck Central American leagues to play "pretty" football. Sure he finished 5th during his first season, but the defending was awful to watch and he got bailed by Lukaku many times.

>Optimum

What the FUCK did they mean by this?

I do wonder if in an alternate reality Moyes was never chosen as Sir Alex's replacement and Everton just kept creeping closer to the Top 4 and ended up were West Ham are right now. So much of Everton's downfall has just been out of their control too.

>Roberto Martinez became the #1 manager in international football off the back of making Everton a mess
How?

Probably, it was going well for Everton under Moyes, consistent top 7 finishes, a cup final a few years before, European football almost every year. Though in all honesty i couldn't remember whether there were anyone better than Martinez to hire that year.
I assume that he had some intricate and ambitious plans for the future when he was presenting whatever the fuck he was planning to the Belgian FA and they bought into it.

rest in piss cheating scouse cunts

I was on turf today
COME ON BURNLEY COME ON BURNLEY

>Though in all honesty i couldn't remember whether there were anyone better than Martinez to hire that year.
And Martinez did well at first. Good football, good results, fans loved him. He literally just had to get a good defensive coach and the love story would be complete, but he didn't.
>I assume that he had some intricate and ambitious plans for the future when he was presenting whatever the fuck he was planning to the Belgian FA and they bought into it.
Ironic since that's how he got the Everton job too, he must be excellent at presentations.

Moyes right now would probably be the perfect manager for United, that's the irony of it. The only 2 they keep getting linked to haven't won anything either and one of them doesn't know the league at all.

lad, there is a maximum of 5 or 6 points here. Watford and CP/Brentford could maybe get them some results. But other than that, they're out of luck

Meanwhile burnley, who Everton are neck and neck with, have Norwich, Watford, Southampton, and a few other midtablers which they could pick up poins from

whoops forgot pic

Everton fixtures
>Manure (H)
lose
>Leicester (H)
lose
>Liverpool (A)
lose by 5 goals at least
>Chelsea (H)
lose
>Leicester (A)
lose
>Watford (A)
might pick up a point
>Brentford (H)
might pick up a win if Brentford are safe and Everton get lucky
>Palace (H)
maybe pick up a point
>Arse (A)
lose

By my count that is maybe 5 points that Everton can hope for.

Burnley Fixtures
>Norwich (A)
nil nil easy point
>West Ham (A)
lose
>Southampton (H)
draw
>Wolves (H)
Burnley have a reasonably good home record against Wolves. Id expect them to win.
>Watford (A)
draw
>Villa (H)
draw
>Tottenham (A)
lose
>Villa (A)
draw
>Newcastle (H)
Good chance that Newcastle will be safe and Burnley will win at Turf Moor.

Thats 11 points by my reckoning. Give or take a couple of points and it still puts them well clear of relegation.

Everton need a miracle run or are going down.

>Utd, Leicester, Liverpool, Chelsea, Leicester again in a row
>Then fellow relegation battlers Watford
>Cruising Brentford
>New look Palace
>Final day against Arsenal who are battling for CL
Absolute grim set of fixtures for Everton. Id see maybe a draw against Utd and maybe a draw or lucky win against Leicester but the rest will be pure pain. Best they can hope is Chelsea and Watford dont turn up and maybe can outmeme Brentford.

think they will beat Watford for sure but meanwhile Burnley will be wrecking Norwich and other shitters and leapfrogging Evertons little 3 points. That's my prediction

So how many points from these fixtures mate?

imagine if they win on saturday

>cheeky draw against United
>lucky win against Leicester
>losing by a minimum of 3 goals
>lost
>lost or lucky draw
Yea it's 5 points at most

they'll draw united, get 4 points off leicester, and 4 points off watford/brentford/CP

>get 4 points off leicester
wow, so this is the power of lampard

>they'll draw united
howling
>get 4 points off leicester
Howling
>4 points off watford/brentford/CP
HOWLING

Everton deserve to be relegated. It's amazing that they share the same city as Liverpool FC, but are somehow the more irritating fanbase.

>It's amazing that they share the same city as Liverpool FC, but are somehow the more irritating fanbase.
lol

>It's amazing that they share the same city as Liverpool FC, but are somehow the more irritating fanbase.
Nice try but Liverpool fans have literally always been worse, even towards Everton fans.

I don't know with Watford I could see a Roy Hodgson 1-0 special
>Manure
A lucky draw at best more likeoy a 3-1 loss as Richarlison tries to impress his next employers
>Lester
Lose
>Liverpoo
9-0 battering
>chelshit
2-0 loss with 0 shots on target
>Lester
Lucky draw at best

Uhmmm mutt you get 3 points per win

Everton fans are the worst in the country. When I was a kid I went to Goodison for my team playing away. They made our coach park on the other side of Stanley park and we had to walk through to get there. Everton scum were throwing stones and bottles at us. Some of them were hiding in the trees spitting at us as we walked past. Never seen such disgraceful behaviour. Disgusting scruffy bastards. I hope to see them relegated and I'd like Liverpool to win and I will take pleasure in Everton fans tears.

S

lol get bottled

That's literally just Scousers. Liverpool fans are the exact same. But the reason Everton are preferable is that at least they don't have additional hordes of London, Yank and Asian plastics that LFC do.

Not at all, Villa were absolutely abysmal and easily the worst team in the league. Everton are shit, but they'll stay up (just)

I still have my doubts that it'll happen, but I for one will take a massive meaty dump on Everton's rotting corpse if they get relegated.

This Everton team have literally been beaten by the three teams in the relegation zone. As of right now, they are comfortably the worst team in the league.

>t. Cornelius from Islington, lifelong Merseyside Red Men™ customer.

no one cares about villa.

they can enjoy the suffering we had to endure for so many years

they play leicester twice so that's a draw and a win you fucking retards, leicester fucking suck

...so what is going to happen with that swanky new stadium Everton are building? didn't the council put up money for that too?
Won't pretend to be an expert but Everton have been ran like shit financially for years, would not be surprised if they end up in deeper trouble if they don't come straight back up. will they just build the stadium anyway? lol

Attached: EvertonStadium.jpg (1000x532, 97.74K)

Everton are utter dogshit when playing away, they even lost to Norwich of all teams, they'd probably get a draw or a lucky win against Leicester at home

>we

Demarai Gray is guaranteed to score in both games

>being from liverpool
>not supporting (dead)
why

Who cares? The relegation from the EPL is a joke and they'll be back in a year thanks to the retarded parachute payments

Well yes, but they have FFP issues, the thing that makes former prem teams languish in the championship or even worse, a drop to league 1

>let's hire rafa
Moshiri is a retard. It's for the best that we get relegated and he fucks off.

Aston Villa was fucked from the beginning of the season and had financial issues. With Everton, it's pure incompetence.
