not me lol
Scarface (Hawks’ version, of course)
Rebel Without a Cause
Birth of a Nation (NOT THE 2016 ONE!!!)
The War Lord
A Duel in the Sun

Haha
I have seen the film, it's good but top 5? Not really. Still it's better than your other picks with the exception of Mulholland Drive.

The Birth of a Nation
Intolerance: Love's Struggle Throughout the Ages
The Rose of Kentucky
Of Human Bondage
Little Lord Fauntleroy
go back

Cars
Kung Fu Panda
Pulp Fiction
Doctor Strange
Alien vs Predator

Wow, so interesting.

The Fifth Element.
Atomic Blonde.
V for Vendetta.
Aliens.
Edge of Tomorrow.

I don't particularly like picking favourites, as it mostly depends on the mood I'm in at the time. So there is around 15 other films I could easily swap those with on any given day. But Aliens and V for Vendetta are the only ones I watch at least once a year.

I mean, mine certainly aren’t just the last 5 criterion dvds I ordered like And if you’re OP you don’t have one in your top 5 made before the fucking 90s, so you’re DEFINITELY underage

In no order:

The Wrestler
Fitzcarraldo
Barry Lyndon
Ben Hur
Nightcrawler

Fucking plebs

Kids (1995)
The Thing
The Seventh Continent
Killer of Sheep
Baby Driver

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (Ultimate Edition)
Man of Steel
Wonder Woman
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (Theatrical Edition)
Aquaman

Angelopoulos and Tarr aren't on criterion. Your picks show that you have probably never seen a non American film in your life and somehow you also didn't pick the best work by the directors you have there.

>Nightcrawler
patrician

>Fucking plebs

Says the guy whose list is

>Angelopoulos and Tarr aren't on criterion.
I can see jokes aren’t your forte. They’re circlejerked by that same millennial cinephile “community”, anyways.
>Your picks show that you have probably never seen a non American film in your life
Oh boy. Not even gonna bother with that one.
>also didn't pick the best work by the directors you have there.
judging from your taste I’m not sure I really hold any trust in what you say are Griffith or Hawks’ best works.

Пиcьмa мёpтвoгo чeлoвeкa
Blue
牯嶺街少年殺人事件
Սայաթ-Նովա
Demolition Man

Too bad the director is a one-hit wonder

>Baby Driver

I'm gonna throw up in my mouth. Pick a better one of his filmography pleaaaaase.

I liked it, but to please you user, you can replace that with hot fuzz or Shaun of the dead, take your pick

>Baby Driver
this is his best ever

why are you such an effeminate loser?

>I can see jokes aren’t your forte. They’re circlejerked by that same millennial cinephile “community”, anyways.
Not really.
>Oh boy. Not even gonna bother with that one.
You don't have to, we both know that i was telling the truth.
>judging from your taste I’m not sure I really hold any trust in what you say are Griffith or Hawks’ best works.
My taste is better than yours so of course my choices would be better than yours.

Half faggot. Don’t really see the point of fighting an irrational person on my movie choices

Okie, Shaun's good. I just thought it was a particularly cloying musical, and every time he was with black cripple mentor I wanted to cringe my face off

Upstream Color
Army Dog
Brazil
Barton Fink
Problem Child 2

Return of the Jedi
Lost in Translation
Mad Max: Fury Road
Good Will Hunting
Pulp Fiction

>You don't have to, we both know that i was telling the truth.
I’ve seen plenty of foreign films, but I don’t put any of them as my favourites because I think a lot of the time I as an American hold a distorted positive bias towards them due to their exoticism.

The New World
The Fountain
Melancholia
Dead Poets Society
Macbeth (2015)

That's quite a stupid reason desu.

Ondine
Alexander: Director's Cut
Blade Runner
The Searchers
The New World

Yes, I do think Colin Farrell is the best actor of his generation.

Attached: The New World.jpg (1200x675, 109K)

The Fountain is a good choice desu. I will watch anything with Rachel Weisz. If you haven't seen them I recommend Enemy at the Gates and The Constant Gardener.

ok. What are Schaffner’s and Rays’s best work?

Patton although for some reason i thought you meant Lord of War not The War Lord. The War Lord is pretty good, his best after Patton probably. Ray's top 3 are In A Lonely Place, Bigger Than Life and The Lusty Men.

Not bad. I was gonna go off if you said Planet of the Apes or Papillon for Schaffner. RWaC is Ray’s best though. Andrew Sarris agrees.

I have zero idea who Andrew Sarris is. I also like Johnny Guitar more than RWaC.

Կոմիտաս (Ասկարյան, 1988)
