Both are fucking terrible mainstream US millenial and Gen X fare.
Aiden Adams
Batman 89 being #4 exposes Douge as being a pleb who is trying to look smart by including so many "smart" movies, but can't control his autism so he has to put Batman in there.
Jason Cooper
I’m sorry nobody likes your shitty anime cartoons or third world Bollywood garbage.
Evan Cooper
both are shit compared to pic related's list
20. Funny Games (1997) 19. Miami Vice (2006) 18. แสงศตวรรษ [Syndromes and a Century] (2006) 17. タンポポ [Tampopo] (1985) 16. Sleep Has Her House (2017) 15. The Iron Giant (1999) 14. This. James' list is full of movies he actually enjoys and watches repeatedly. Doug's is full of movies that he's supposed to like because they're "important".
Ian Sullivan
>Spirited Away >The Dark Knight Yeah I'm thinking James has better taste.
Justin Taylor
James and it's not even close.
Camden Taylor
None of those are bad movies, especially Spirited Away
Luke Butler
oh look another Screenwave shill thread you've only done this one like 20 times
Douge's list is absolute cringe because he's trying to impress people rather than listing movies that he genuinely enjoys and watches often.
Joshua Reed
>Doug's is full of movies that he's supposed to like because they're "important".
And he didn't even do a good job at that. 3/20 movies made before the 70s? No foreign films besides one (1) anime?
Christian Evans
I'll give you that, but top 20? Are this the only twenty movies he knows or that came to mind?
Eli James
>no Bloodsport, Kickboxer, Road House, Godzilla:Final Wars, Halloween, no F13 representation, no Mad Max, Rambo: First Blood, Rambo: First Blood: Part 2, no Puppetmaster movies Sure is low T in here
Cooper Martinez
There was a reddit pole last year and I was the only person out of hundreds who listed First Blood in my top 25. I lost a little faith in humanity.
John Allen
Mad Max is the manlets idea of high test kino. Same as spaghetti westerns
Jason Cox
Doug is the ultimate pleb. James has some taste
Isaac Morgan
I honestly don't disagree with you on the later films but there's nothing quite like the first film. The pre apocalyptic world they depict, the way the gang is written, the way the family thinks they can still relax and vacation as the world crumbles but Max gets a strong reminder this isn't the world of his childhood, it's all perfect imo
>No Goodfellas Some real greaseball shit right here
Eli Young
Not him but I just watched it, pure kino
Parker Ortiz
Make threads about it daily until these nerds start showing it the respect it deserves. Not in the faggy memester way people post about the mask though, just genuine discussion of it daily
Charles Morris
more like GAYFELLAS
Ian Jackson
yes sir
Robert Morgan
as apple pie, cocksucker
this guy gets it
Jayden Brooks
No, like you said to, uh, somebody, "You're gonna like this guy. He's all right. He's a good fella. He's one of us." You understand?
James of course douge has anime on his list for god sake
Christian Morales
I unironically think it’s the best Godzilla for pure entertainment. It’s got the most memorable characters, the best villain, best monsters, best designs, best fights, when it comes to the goofier Godzilla movies it’s the king. Pure fuckin kino
Doug's is mostly normal. Weird to have Fear and Loathing just above Citizen Kane, but alrighty. James is a manchild, and it's the same with videogames.
James is special needs so he mostly only likes kids movies. Doug on the other hand likes pretentious shit. Both lists are mediocre, but I do like their opinions on movies in general.
Ayden Lopez
Based and autistic.
Jonathan Davis
Fuck off, pleb brainlets. Bruton Batman was absolute kino.
Julian Smith
James is a humble guy that has been forced to make videos about shitty games when he was always a man who loved film. It's especially evident when Mike stopped writing for the show. Mike was the guy who got irrationally upset about NES games, not James.
Doug is a pretentious bitter cunt who made shitty videos, then wanted to stop making those only for his fans to force him back in
Isaac Campbell
kys mutt
James Roberts
>hurrr kino It's a bad movie. Weak plot, weak pacing, weak characterizations. The only thing it has going for it is aesthetic, like every Burton movie. They're all brainlet tier. There's nothing to think about with Burton movies, Batman especially. Just sit back and look at nice things with good Danny Elfman music. If that's all you're after then fine, but that doesn't make it a good movie. It's a shit movie with good things in it.
Jacob Cook
Why do some of you call him Douge? His name is Doug, without the E.
Christopher Rogers
First Blood is on James's list but a bit above 20 and Halloween is on James's list too, and the Godzilla series.
