nice post of Fairy Tail's best girl
The damage control for LeXcuses theae past few weeks has been very amusing
Not like this LeBingtao bros....
>no lebron
>no knicks
No i will NOT be watching the playoffs
Are you keeping that same narrative energy today /nba/? :)
I'm still wondering what "it" was and when does "it" begin? Just trying to keep my same narrative energy
>wake up
>the lakers are still eliminated from playoff contention
good mooooooooooorning america
>his lakies
his lakies
>his lakies
his lakies
>his lakies
his lakies
how does a team filled with 5 hall of famers not even make the playoffs? That has to be some kind of record
the lakers can still make the play ins if we find and ban a team that doesn't condemn russia
Historically, has there ever been a team who had two actual, genuine GOAT candidates in or near their prime on the floor at the same time?
>He doesn’t look very coordinated, just way bigger. I know he was by far the best of his era, but He’d get crushed in todays game.
has been all downhill since
bulls and larriors
Bulls had Jordan, but who else?
>Booker wasn't even putting his hands up vs Westbrick on defense >Adisney helpless vs DA
>Mikail doing the griddy after dunking and going up 24
the best player on the team, pippen
>his lakeshitterfaggots
Was he ever a GOAT candidate outside of your imagination?
He has been in the conversation for Greatest cuck of all time. Will smith has been killing it lately tho
I was only memeing a few weeks ago about lakeshits missing the play-in, I can't believe it actually fucking happened...
80s Lakers almost had 3 with Kareem, Magic and Worthy, but Kareem was already aging when Worthy entered his prime, so it's probably still only 2. I think Worthy is underrated because he had to share the ball with so many great players and thus lacks numbers, but still he managed to lead the star-studded team in scoring and FG% at times. Not even mentioning his plentiful clutch performances.
best cases are the 90s Bulls, 3peat Lakers & the 2017 Warriors
1. Was Worthy ever a GOAT candidate? You have to be able to argue for this exact player as one of the top five of all time, if not the greatest altogether.
2. Were Kareem and Magic ever near their prime at the same time? Kareem was good in the seventies.
By being old
kareem's game aged super well. first year magic got there, yeah, he was near prime
Unironically true
>90s Bulls
No
>3peat Lakers
Strictly worse than Showtime
>the 2017 Warriors
Would you go so far as to include both in the GOAT discussion?
Winning Time is a kino show btw
>be tall
>accurate hook shot
>???
>profit
>Was Worthy ever a GOAT candidate? You have to be able to argue for this exact player as one of the top five of all time, if not the greatest altogether.
On a team with less superstars he surely would have put up massive numbers, though it's hard to say if GOAT spheres were realistic. But still I remember documentaries where people who played the Lakers back then all said that it wasn't Kareem or Magic they were afraid to guard, it was James Worthy whom they considered unstoppable, and that surely means something when people are scared of you when you're on the same roster with so many legends.
then your question has no answer. In today's NBA it would be the equivalent of Jokic, Giannis & Doncic teaming up
holy shit guys did you see ad at the post game yesterday
somebody please acquire for this nigga a stylist
forget a stylist, he needs to improve his body first so he's not a walking injury
bruh he wearin grandma's pearls
and grandma's sunglasses
and grandma's coat
that means he's a chimney explorer
My Lakesharts :)
The answer is apparently the Lakers in the early eighties.
he looks quirked up and bussin
Dillon Brooks inspired him. He's slowly coming out
If you guy by strictly guys who could've been GOAT candidates at the time and not including guys careers for the 40 years after that, then the 1983 sixers with Dr J and Moses Malone
Underrated reply, underrated team.
the 1972 Lakers is a step below.
Unfortunately, Elgin Baylor had too many injuries by then, Wilt was 2 years post patellar tendon rupture & Jerry West is the only relatively healthy player of the three but is also post prime. it would've been a 75+ win team in 1966
I miss Kobr. The fact that we won't see him as a coach or analyst anymore is sad.
But Gigr man... Gigr... I was considering watching the fucking WNBA because of her. The WNBA!
Remember in Game 2 and 3 when Lakers were winning and Lebron was frontrunning, smiling from ear to ear, laughing and running up and down the court mocking Suns player. I wonder why he didn't look hurt at all when he was winning hmmm :)
starting noporn today, wish me luck lads
you were saved from a fate worse than death
> fuck around during most of the year
> lakers fail so bad they actually see a chance of both tanking and going to the playoffs
> they actually do it
> Cana
Good taste, user
Sometimes it's fun to watch a really good play dominate a shitty league
Lets be real Jokic sisters. He doesnt have a case to go for a b2b MVP. Yes he’s a 27/14/8, most efficient player, but he’s the 6th seed.
Embiid will have the most 40/10 games in modern era, while being 3rd seed and having the scoring title.
Next year is our year
>mfw my wizzies gon get Chet
>Nikola Vucevic with the absolutely appalling quadruple-single: 7 PTS, 6 REB, 3 AST, 1 STL, 3-19 FG, 1-6 3PT in 26 minutes played. He had more fouls (4) than made shots (3).
realistically, Jokic needed to break a few Wilt records to get a b2b MVP with a 6th seed team
Next year is Tatum's. But Jokic deserves it this year
