I never watch a movie which did not come out the current year. With music if it's older than a month then it's already cringe.

I literally can't watch films made in the XVI century or before.

probably The Matrix was the last one to make me go WOW!
But I rarely rewatch anything before 1980 or after 1991

The question you should ask is how far forward can you go before movies become unwatchable through being too new.
I watch few things post 1960s, almost nothing post 1990s.
