I'm really hype, I've seen all of the films in the collection except Astro Monster and v. Gigan. But the quality was shit, I saw most of them on VHS when I was a kid. Godzilla v. Ebirah was my favorite as a kid, followed closely by Godzilla v. Megalon.

okay, i'm half way in and i have to say, speedy did nothing wrong and is definitely /ourguy/. this actually is the third or fourth silent movie i watched and much better experience than i've had before. the meme artist wasn't that bad but in hindsight compared to speedy it seems just more like a tribute than a movie in itself, which isn't something bad, but it doesn't really stand on it's own to be memorable enough. the execution was on point, the cinematography was really nice, but speedy has this charme you can't recreate and i will watch more silent movies after this one, they are kino as fuck. i don't even get what people say when they say something is dated like it's a bad thing, some things taste better the longer you store it so it can refine

and it must also be because i love new york kino overall.
