The anthology idea was fine but in practice they fucked it up. I know a few contrarians on here like to pretend it's good, but Season of The Witch sucked. It's boring, once you find out what's going on it's really stupid, the acting is bad. It's like a feature length, sub-par episode of the twilight zone.
It's cool if you like it I'm just letting you know that's why the anthology idea didn't pan out. If Halloween 3 was good it would probably have continued in that vein.

He has a crude, vulgar personality. The second one definitely lingers on him more and develops his character more fully. The scene where he goes out of his way to "murder" the other doll in the house instead of just tossing it in a dumpster, while gleefully laughing really shows how cracked and desperate his mind is.

if they wanted to make an anthology series then they shouldn't have made Halloween 2 a sequel to the first but rather another story in the anthology and then later on down the line do a spin off that counties the Micheal Myers story. Also it didn't help that 3 was really bad, i remember watching it as a teen randomly while it was on tv and wondering when Micheal was going to turn up and why it had nothing to do with him

I would really like to see Mancini's original take on the movie, where it was ambiguous up to a certain point whether Andy or Chucky were actually killing people. There was no possession or anything like that, it looked pretty kino. Guess it was too deviating from a safe formula for your typical slasher and they had him rewrite the entire premise of the movie
