Homelander literally said that Black Noir was the only other of the seven who was doing an exemplary job. You know, in the scene where he reveals the boys to the seven? The only person Homelander would ever dole out a compliment to is himself, the egomaniac that he is. Dont you see that throw away scene as a hint toward who's under BN's mask?

He couldn't fly or had laser vision but he was durable and stronger than Homelander. Basically an unstable pysopthic clone of Homelander that was supposed to be a failsafe to stop the first Homelander.

hopefully season 2, which will cover the g men and herogasim. they could probably ignore little nina and love sausage but that would be a shame. season 3 can be the finale with the military take over.

If we get to season 4 its a miracle. TheTick only got two out of some exec's caring for it, but this type of niche superhero tv stuff only stays popular for so long. All the netflix Marvel stuff pittered out around season 2.
