Hateful eight

Why is this movie so comfy?? And why is it quentin best movie??

Attached: hateful-eight.jpg (725x525, 519K)

I agree its comfy and good but its not his best.

I saw this on the plane coming back from Switzerland and it was very comfy to be in my seat watching the extended cut. The twist near the end was awesome as the actor he chose was such a throw off but it worked. Channing did a good job eh?

Samuel Jackson was pissed he didn't get to be Django so quentin made this movie for him. Do you guys think Samuel Jacksons character was as good as Django? As badass? The exposition in the carriage makes him sound like a fucking bad ass but you don't see it.

I think he's pretty bad ass given the circumstances the fact that he makes it to the end of the movie as the last guy alive is pretty telling of how badass he is. He doesn't live like Django it's more of a tragedy but I think it works well.

>black cowboys
gonna be a nope from me dawg

Could have been better if it didn't have Quentin's nigger-fetish on full display. That creep wishes he was black so much it hurts, fucking disgusting.

Very comfy on a cold winter night with a hot cup of coco
But not his best work

I actually really like movies that take place in one spot. Pnonebooth for example. Any other single spot films you guys can recommend?? Predator counts??

This

Not his best, but definitely one of them

>what the fuck I tell you about talking huh? I'll bust you in the mouth right in front of these people. I don't give a FUCK!
why is he so good at writing characters and getting the right actors who can give the script the best performance???

I've only ever seen Django once, and I hated it.

The first Saw film.

Horrible gimmick film DESU

I made it about ten minutes in to django before I immediately knew it was negro loving trash

the new Spider-Man takes place solely on Earth

Yeah i dunno. I like most of Tarantinos movies and have seen them all multiple times, but i guess i just didnt "get" django

I just rewatched it before hateful eight. I'm on chapter 3 as I type this. I skipped first third of Django cuz it was shit but once Leo gets in the picture it'd pure Kino

It is his best worst movie. I put it in 6th place of his 9-film filmography. Reservoir Dogs is 5th and is the worst of his best.

what's the worst of the worst?
what's the average of his best?

You're a fucking illiterate. You forgot Roadhouse, and True Romance is not in his filmography. Kill yourself.

>jackie brown last
pleb detected

>fucking everything about that list
I would expected nothing less of a braindead phoneposter

>hateful eight number 1
>inglorious basterds not dead last
>django in the top 5
terrible taste

Django
Pulp Fiction

shit movie.. the only redeeming factor being the comfyness of the inn

>faggot
Switzerland

Switzerland is a pretty beautiful country, what didn't you like about it when you went there?

More like Forgetful Eight. Seen this flick once and I member only that most of them die, but then it's Tarantino , so everybody dies anyway.

Same reason The Man from Earth is so comfy; heavy dialog and the cabin setting. The lighting and colors are also pretty good.

>Jackie Brown last on the list
holy shit man, sort your life out

>his best
I'LL BE DOUBLE DOG DAMNED
>tfw at least I got to see Zöe Bell as the qtpatootie 6 Horse Judy

Stopped reading there.

Movie is fucking shit

Is it comfy in Switzerland?

>His best movie last

Imagine to be such pleb.

kek, you know it to be true. the comfy factor doesn’t make up for the fact that the movie is really not good..

Jackie Brown is the best and comfiest thanks to the source material. Hateful 8 is up ther as well, one of his best

Why are you talking to us like if you were a Christian counselor?

You are a master of the bait post. This list is fucking outrageous.

Has anyone seen this on a plane coming back from Switzerland?

Blacks were mostly cowboys in the past. White cowboys are a meme, moreso than spic cowboys no matter how much they cry about it.

could have been good, but it was shit, boiled down to nothing and no tension at all.

>And why is it quentin best movie??
No, but probably his best since Kill Bill.

My main issue apart from it yet again being another cowboy movie that's heavily centered around race, pretty much the entire movie I was waiting for an interesting twist to happen and then he just said fuck it, "they were all in on it", and pulled out his usual "lol, big shootout and everyone dies, the end" thing.

Was it the whole script leak that fucked up the ending?

My rating

>Jackie Brown
>Reservoir Dogs
>Pulp Fiction
>Hateful Eight
>Kill Bill
>Kill Bill 2
>Death Proof
>Django

Because django is more of an overblown skit than a full blown movie. It's an excuse to film slaves getting revenge on slaves. Its stylish, has good music and gore but it's pretty hollow.

>whole script leak
Was something different in the leaked script?

Not sure, it's why I asked.

Not his best movie for sure, but god Tarantino's ability to leave you on the edge of your seat using just dialogue is impressive, i'm really pumped for his novels after he retires from directing

Good QT films ranked: Once Upon>Jackie Brown>Inglorious Bastards>Pulp Fiction>Reservoir Dogs

Less than good QT films ranked: H8>Django>Kill Bill Volume 1/2 (because who fucking cares)>Roadhouse

That is all

Where your guys in the same plane?

Not him but Geneva has the most insufferable people on Earth

your knowledge is limited

My man

Comfy/8

kek

Yes as long as you arent in the French speaking part

Tarantino shot them before he threw them out of the plane, i wonder why?

Holy shit nigger this is literally my list

OKAY EVERYBODY. Hear this.

This here is Daisy Domergue. She’s wanted dead or alive for murder. Ten thousand dollars. That money’s mine boys. Don’t want to share it, I ain’t going to lose it. When that sun comes out, I’m taking this woman into Red Rock to hang.

Now...is there anybody here committed to stopping me from doing that?

Reservoir Dogs

You really think hes gonna stop directing after Star Trek/his next script? I honestly dont think his writing skills are strong enough for novels, hes great at putting new and stylish twists on classic movies but his original writing isnt particularly impressive on its own. His best movie is a ray chandler adaptation and Natural Born Killers (his script but directed by Oliver stone) was a mediocre movie without his directorial touch.

Hateful 8 isnt an amazing movie but it has some of his best dialogue and characters

If QT retires from filmmaking the next logical step would be Broadway. Hateful 8 is already essentially a stageplay

>director consistently uses the same actors
yeah, that's a cringe from me

the flight plan listed all of them but only one of you

It make things easier during contract negotiations probably

Samuel L Jackson is fucking insufferable in this movie, good work Tarantino.

wut

Samuel L Jackson old man character in Django was so much better than Django.

Never been, but living in New England I'd really like to hear how they could be worse.

anyone watch the miniseries version on netflix

Was this the movie where one crook provokes a fight with another man by claiming he raped his son?

The scene when he confesses that he killed Sandy Smithers son is pretty kino though
