>Reeeee muh 1970s low quality VHS beta version is better.

Fuck off the 2004 special edition was superior. Ild version looked boring and fucking shit. Especially during the battle of Yalvin and Cloud City.

Cope fatass. Cope.

>watching blurry 720p despecialized editions instead of the razor sharp 4K77
Top pleb.

>not watching the non-DNR'd versions

The original theatrical prints are actually objectively pretty garbage though in terms of sound and picture quality. The special editions (1997) are the best between the original releases and the post-prequels nonsense (2004). Of course you still get Jedi Rocks and Greedo shooting first, but I'd say in the grand scheme of things those two minute sequences are a small price to pay. Everything else is perfectly fine.

Have you actually watched this? The dude completely reconstructed the original prints onto high def. Its an absolutely amazing cut.

Based.
DNR is fucking disgusting.

>720p
>high def
Pick one.

>he watches harmy's butchered frankenstein edits instead of the objectively superior vhs versions
Inb4 "muh laser discs!!!"
>he watches DNR'd versions for slightly better audio
Lmao@ur life

It's not 720p, zoomer

The despecialized editions are 720p, dumbass. But Harmy is working on 1080p editions, though.

>watching anything but 4K77 v1.4 and 4K83 v1.1/v1.3
Reconsider your life.

People who only saw special editions don't know real Star Wars.

>watching space cartoons

>tfw watched my Dad's copy of RotJ so much that the tape wore out and got eaten by the VCR

Checked. You are a zoomer confirmed

>he watches Star Wars
