Well, now that most of the main state championships are over, what did everyone here think of it all? I'm asking because every year there seems to be a lot of strong opinions about it from every direction, some think they should end altogether for being outdated and intrusive, some suggest they should only be played by clubs without a national division, some believe they just need to be make shorter and/or more marketable, and some believe they are fine as they are for the most part, though these seem to be the minority. I'm curious to know what my fellow /copalib/ros think. I do like them to be honest, as much as I feel they've lost a lot of value and do get in the way a lot of the time, they're still wondeful as a pre-season to make tests in the squad, to adjust new signings into the starting 11 and even a new manager in some cases, they also have a lot of tradition and I do have a soft spot for them, due to growing up while they were still more relevant, to me they just need the federations to put more care into them, preferably make them a little shorter wherever possible, without making it too short, having the grass not suck in most stadiums, and they also need to become more appealing as a product, like the Paulistão began doing this year.
