What are the action movies you have enjoyed the most?
Notice I said 'enjoyed the most,' not what you think is best. A little indulgence and turning your brain off is a valid strategy for enjoying this genre, IMO. Some of my favourite memories are watching schlocky action bullshit with my parents when I was a kid.
>gun noise i think blackhat (another mann joint) had some audiokino. not sure because the movie was entirely forgettable

The One The Matrix Trilogy Atomic Blonde Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon Flashpoint Unleashed Haywire Outlander John Wick Trilogy Hero House of Flying Daggers Shinobi: Heart Under Blade The Raid 1+2 District 9 Captain America: The Winter Soldier
Action is probably my favorite genre but I'm also picky as fuck and cannot enjoy most of it. Because while it's purely visceral and it's why I love it, I also cannot turn my brain off and it needs to pull off everything right to satisfy me. I dislike the current state of it. I didn't fall for the raid or John wick memes. We badly need a Joel Silver again.
