Kotor 1 is well written because its the most simple story they could pull off. The only interesting bit is the twist that altho it puts a cool spin on previous events, it doesn't do much.

Can we be real for a moment here? There's how many Star Wars movies now? 10? 2 of those are good. The rest are forgettable at best. You can argue that it's a bad story, but KOTOR 2 at least told a different story than the rest of it.

Simple stories are sometimes the best. KotOR II's problem is that its twist relies on presenting an unreliable narrator as reliable until the last act, and people don't seem to get that.

Best story is almost universally agreed to be Imperial Agent since it was the first one written for the game. My main is a Smuggler and I'm digging that story too. I'd go with.

Depends. I've been doing a lot of the side quests until those get boring. Completing big quests give you 2 hour long experience boosters. I hit level 50+ in no time from the start, so most of those side quests are pretty optional to level up fast.
