Good Time too. Uncut Gems looks great. The Lighthouse looks good too. The Witch was decent, hopefully The Lighthouse will be better.

>I for one
Kek. Laterally everyone Iikes this studio. There's 1 or 2 people here TOPS who don't. But there's also people who think the Sun is blue.

>bro a24 movies are awesome
>Woah bro not cool a24 doesn't actually make the movies
So which one is it

Their first one, Spring Breakers

As a rule of thumb, 84% of what Yea Forums critiques as a "bad movie" is usually mediocre, if not great.
With A24 in particular, yes, the movies are fantastic.

yep

based

the killing of a sacred deer

wtf is this shill shit?
wtf is A24 and why is there like four threads about them?

for me, it's slow burn bone chilling no jumpscare horror

>literally everyone likes this studio

thats a small part of what makes a24 so ugly. So much is based on sheep hearsay. I guess its the perfect kind of studio for an era with no backbone

Get it through your head that popular =/= bad

they're the savior of cinema

For me, it

I just asked a colleague of mine what he thought of A24. Took me off guard when he actually knew who they are and told me they "always deliver solid flicks".
Always is a bit of a stretch, but he's a normie so I'll let it slide. Most of it is kino tho.

Good Time was so fucking good, it worries me that it was a fluke. I never re-watch movies in the theaters and I saw GT three times. I got really high expectations for their next.

Watch their previous film, it's also pretty good. They wanted to make Uncut Gems before Good Time, they wanted to make it for like 6 years. Some people who read the script said that it's like Good Time but darker, more comedic and more edgy. TIFF artistic director said that it's intense throughout the whole film with the best Sandler performance since Punch Drunk Love. I have high expectations, hopefully they can deliver. It's also longer than Good Time, it's 135 minutes.

i only watched The Witch by now
i like it, so i'll watch the rest just to spite Yea Forums jumpscarefag incels

Spring Breakers and The Florida Project are kino. A24 needs to make another kino in Florida so we can have A24 Florida Trilogy Kino.

Under the Silver Lake is one of the best movies of the decade.
Fuck A24 for cancelling its theatrical release and sending it straight to streaming.

>best movie of the decade
Classic a24 shill phrase

Is “Fuck A24” a classic A24 shill phrase too, faggot?

Pynchon lite. It's not surprising that they cancelled the release, the film was divisive and postponed like 3 times.

Can confirm that Heaven Knows What is seriously good and emotionally potent. It just flounders a little toward the end. It's sort of Yea Forums - the movie, especially how teenage edge becomes sad and dumb if you can't outgrow it.
