HOW YOU LIKE THEM APPLES

Bruno Ganz as Adolf Hitler in Downfall gave a very good performance.

Gyllenhaal in Nightcrawler.

Also, Waltz in Inglorious Basterds. I know people like to call him a meme since he plays le articulate educated professional in every movie, but memes aside his acting there is flawless.

The entire cast of Adam's Apples.

Mads in The Hunt

The acting was awful, what are you talking about? It’s on record that the director didn’t care at all how the English actors gave their lines and let them do whatever

Anthony hopkins in Hannibal.

Also King Lear. His performance was brilliant.

Edward James Olmos in Battlestar Galactica

Jennifer Lopez in Selena

Javier Bardem in No Country for Old Men

Actually, really good.

I think Matthew mconehey or whatever his name is, great acting all around but the crying scene in interstellar is top tier acting. I also think jared leto did a great job in dallas buyers club.

Jennifer morrison in this scene in warrior is top tier acting

Rosalind Russell in 'His Girl Friday'

>The entire cast of Adam's Apples.
>Mads in The Hunt
these and Mads in Arctic
also Benicio in Fear and Loathing

Alec McGuiness. Bridge on the River Kwai.

Pacino in The Godfather 2. The scene where he finds out Fredo betrayed him always sticks out in my mind as one of the best performances I've seen.

>aaah the sistine chapel... imagine the smell chief

>literally melodrama facepalms
Make sure you emote hard enough for everyone in the back, Al.

Brando in Streetcar.

Volcanic acting against the backdrop of an interesting Tennessee Williams play. Don't let women drooling over Brando ruin this movie for you -- it's legitimately a great adaptation of the play (which Brando himself carried in the theater).

Al Pacino in And Justice For All
Christoph Waltz in Inglorious Basterds and Django Unchained
Sam Rockwell in pretty much anything
Sly Stallone in First Blood
Heath Ledger in TDK
Matthew McConaughey in True Detective
Ralph Fiennes in Schindler's List
Ryan Gosling in 2049
Javier Bardem in No Country and Skyfall
Chief Kief in 24, some moments were absolute kino
just a few that came to my mind

Jimmy Stewart - Anatomy of a Murder

The entire cast of Clockwork Orange, especially Patrick Magee and Aubrey Morris.

Ray Miland kills it in the Lost Weekend. It's true substance abuse kino, drinking kino, loser kino, you name it.

Dustin Hoffman in Rain Man
Joe Pesci in Goodfellas
Daniel Day Lewis in Gangs of New York

Say what you will about the writing, but Bryan Cranston does an amazing job in breaking bad. When he’s just trying to act like a normal dad he seems like his goofy character from Malcolm in the middle, but when he’s showing his vulnerabilities as an ostracized father he really shines. His “perfect time to die” speech sticks out.

Speaking of Warrior, Nick Nolte was phenomenal in that movie.

Robin Williams in Awakenings >>>> Robin Williams in that Weinstein oscarbait trash

Based Raul Julia

It was a TUESDAY.

deniro was way better than williams in awakenings

Yea he ws great, desu all the actors in that movie did a great job. It's litterally one of those movies women could never understand. The last scene genuinely makes my cry. I have brothers IRL.

Literally cried during that scene

F Murray Abrahams in Amadeus

uno farto @:10

Network was written as satire but it's kind of fucking scary today, to be honest.

Nick Nolte drunk Moby Dick scene in Warrior

James Gandolfini :(

>24
hell yeah brother
when Jack started crying in his car in Season 3 end or when he found out that Aubrey is dead in LAD were both absolutely heartbreaking moments

Williams in One Hour Photo imo was his standout.

>when he has to shoot his fuckin partner and then a motherfucking nuke goes off a minute later
that poor motherfucker

Adam Sandlar in that one scene where his dad dies or something.

thats like every movie
umm

I feel like whenever he realises he's got power or he's impotent it's too on the nose. Like he has the mad villain act or the scrambling to survive act and they're really obvious. I do like how some of his speeches do seem a bit delusional or theatrical though (I am the one who knocks, for example), it goes with his character. I just wish Walter was played with a little less self awareness in the actual character

He definitely entertaining though and a guy obsessed with power would probably always be thinking about power so it's probably on purpose, but it would have been nice to see him eventually realise that was what motivated him instead of him just declaring it

>Brazil
>people barely react to acts of terrorism
>there's so much paperwork it's detrimental to anyone involved
>main character has fucked up dreams

Too real

Why would anyone choose Hannibal and not Silence of the Lambs?

Cause he is in it more, and not stuck in a cell.

I just watched this movie the other day and it was absolute dogshit

Bryan Cranston does an amazing job absolutely everywhere

he's a fucking awful actor. He has the most obvious "I'm acting, aren't you impressed?" look I've ever seen. What a narcissistic little manlet. Anyone else notice how he always tries to make his voice more gravelly when he's trying to impress everybody with his "acting"

Philip Seymour Hoffman in everything

This guy was an infamous joke thief. Fuck him I'm glad he killed himself.

Russell Crowe in Master and Commander. That subtle eye twitch in the end when he finds out about the captain

Cringe

Yeah Cranston is a shitty actor

For me it's Drew Russell as The Joker Baby.

The look he gives Al Neiri at his mother’s funeral is terrifying. He says so much with only his eyes.
