>The movie sees Jason Statham reprise his role of Deckard Shaw, while we are introduced to his younger sister Hattie, played by Vanessa Kirby. >In case you didn't know, Statham is 52 years old, while Kirby is 31 – and while such a big gap for siblings is not unheard of, there is one aspect of the movie that makes this gap a little too farfetched. >In the movie, we are shown flashbacks that depict Deckard and Hattie carrying out cons when they are children of a similar age... despite the fact that there are 21 years between them in real life.
Unless it's stated in the movie that they are 21 years apart then it doesn't matter. Guess what? They are playing pretend. They can be any age the writer wants them to be.
Half of this movie is retarded. When both are chained to a chair being electrocuted their escape is literally some random guy helping them out by shooting a flame thrower scaring some guys and they both literally break these thick ass chains as if they were floss for teeth. Not only that but the entire warehouse escape scene is dumb. Theyre running around trying to escape and an entire warehouse of fucking guys with guns yet not one single person can shoot them. They have these extras in the background just pointing their guns at random directions to seem like theyre doing something but theres literally only 4 people to focus on and the "scientists" in these hazard suits are just running in fucking circles looking stupid. They drive away by going on some dumbass off road dirt car with no windows or doors and yet no one shoots at them. So many dumb fucking retarded scenes.
