It wasn't even stretched into a full comic, ya dip. He's not saying that. He's saying it shows -a scene- where superheros can do more than fight. Zack Snyder didn't really have anything like that in his trash films. The closest thing was his Jesus imagery montage of five seconds of Superman saving people around the world.
This Black Widow scribe is still wrong and an idiot, but the ideology of giant two hour fight scenes is just as stupid.

One scene is not enough to make a movie that doesn't follow the typical formula of superhero films, you can't just add that scene to a regular Superman film and expect it to be any different. The conversation is about alternatives to violence, and if you want to do that it needs to be longer than a 5 minute scene.

Clark is the first person to acknowledge that his powers can make a big difference in the world. He wants to help people more than anything, therefore he won't hesitate to use his powers when necessary, and those include punching stuff harder than anyone or burning things with his heat vision. And, coincidentally, the kind of problems he faces on a regular basis force him to use those powers more often than not, maybe because, you know, he's the main protagonist in a superhero book aimed at young readers, mostly males, that enjoy action and adventure. His debut should give you a hint.
