is he ded yet

Probably not for another ten years. We are only getting films set in the 90s now. And hopefully by then the sjw pandering will be over and done with.

>Thinking that we will ever see films set in the 2000s.
The only reason that we see films set in the 80s right now is because there were some good quality films made back that hollywood can copy to tap into nostalgia. What memorable films from the 2000s are there?

he got sober

>spent all day playing videogames
>never been to a party
>don't have any fond memories from school
>can't remember popular movies/ songs of the time
>head so fucked on meds I barely remember my childhood at all
>feel zero nostalgia to the early 2000's

Almost none of those films are set in the early 2000s, brainlet, let alone feature identifiable 2000s culture.

This poster said 2000s not early, please follow along, retard.

As soon as people who were in high school in the early 2000s are the ones making all the films.

There are already plenty of directors who grew up in that era, but none of them are making films about highschool, because it's not an interesting subject like it was in the 80s and 90s. At best you'll eventually see some sk8rboi/scene films and documentaries about nu-metal and shit, but the reality is that very little interesting happened in terms of culture back then.

Shoulda had an abortion, bortion bortion bortion

If you want the 00s trash culture, Southland Tales is your best option.

guess you became another tragedy of society user

sum41 took the angle of a pop-punk band but they were actually a decent classic metal band. Their singles don't do them justice.

>implying that pop-punk was bad.

Based deryck is still kicking and dave is back in the band. Makes me so happy even though their latest songs are mediocre.

Fuck no! please

I'm glad Buttrock is dead and burried.

Fargo season 1 is set in 2006

Gay cunt.

>nostalgia
Sorta, it's more to do with music and things hitting public domain. Nostalgia is bullshit, do you think people in 1979 were nostalgic for anything from the late 1940s?

I know the guy who built that for the movie. Nokia was swamped with people wanting that phone. You know how much money he made?

Spoiler: nothing.

i liked pop punk. I did buy their albums in the first place because of that. It's just all their remembered for 'IM IN TOO DEEP''

Are trying to say that your friend made the Nokia 8110 or that he was the guy who put a spring in the slide for the film?

I'M HERE WITHOUT YOU BAAAYYYBEEEHHH!!

Not
>If I go crazy, then will you still call me Superman?

HMMMMMMM

never hopefully.
boring decade that produced boring people

Never, Sum 41 was garbage just like everything else from that era. Theres a reason 80s "nostalgia" has been around since like 2003 . 90s kids tries to force their shit and everyone stuck with the 80s so good luck with that early 2000 crap

>posting zoyjack to le troll
yikes

>Theres a reason 80s "nostalgia" has been around since like 2003 .
Because that's when Gen Xers took over in the media?

Yeah theres a shit load of millenials and younger in media, but no one gives a fuck about some rando Nickelodeon show. I mean in the 70s you had 50s nostalgia, 90s had 70s nostalgia. Everyone just ignored the 90s and focused on the 80s for like 15 years for a reason

85 muh wee grow

>Everyone just ignored the 90s and focused on the 80s for like 15 years for a reason
Except that there is shit loads of 90s nostalgia in media, particularly in relation to video games and music.

found the pose fanboy

was responding to this user

CAUSE I'M IN TOO DEEP AND I'M TRYING TO KEEP

Wanna try that again in english?

nobody can refute this

90s aesthetic is actually having a huge resurgence right now, boomer

Ok pal the me when there's a version of Stranger Things S3 for 90s fags.
..pro tip it won't exist

I dunno. How old were the teenagers in the 2000s now? 20-somethings? When they're 40-50 and own Hollywood expect them to have major 2000s nostalgia that translates to film and television.
