It’s literally just the kings car and a plaque, I can’t recall any Dale Earnhardt exhibits. It’s in the nc sports hall of fame which is in the history museum so there’s a bunch of college basketball and Michael Jordan memorabilia.

I wish the NC history museum/sports hall of fame and the nascar hall of fame were connected with each other, a rotating exhibit between the two would be neat.

And if you're talking about the RPM regulations, I don't see it as an issue, there has been no in-season adjustment last year and I don't think there will be any more this year. Maybe Rea got a bit screwed last year, but that's it. Kawasaki will hopefully be a bit more competitive this season. But Toprak is still the main favorite.

There really isn’t much difference mechanically now.
Originally, the Grand National series (Cup Cars) were mostly-stock current-year road cars (hence the name ‘stock cars’). The Modified series were an anything-goes category for out-of-date cars.
Over time, the Grand National/Cup Car regulations allowed for more and more modifications, both for safety and performance, until by the early 90s they had essentially no ties to the road cars they were supposed to be based on. Which means for all intents and purposes, the only thing setting Modifieds and Cup Cars apart mechanically was the bodywork and some minor engine tuning differences. It’s widened back up again, because Cup Cars have introduced EFI, sequential gearboxes, 18” wheels, and IRS over the last decade. Meanwhile Modifieds are still using carby SBC/Windsor/Magnum-based V8s, Jericho 4 speeds, 15” steelies, and Ford 9” axles. And obviously the Modifieds run on much smaller tracks, with local good-ol-boy drivers.
Modern Modified races are about what NASCAR was like prior to the 1970s

If you’re in a superior car, and are in the back, you should race those guys clean because you’re going to pass them eventually and they literally can’t afford to have a beat up car. The budget for the 54 is probably like 2-3x a smaller budget team.

Almost nobody played it but Grid Legends has phenomenal AI, runs extremely well (zero optimization issues), and steering saturation on +6 drives a lot better than you'd think. They wasted their resources making a story mode nobody wanted and just shoehorning random assets into a generic racing game.

Reduce the sideforce assist that they use so cars can corner at 150mph, add in a simple pitstop mechanic, sell it as "GRID: Speedway" with Newgarden, Jordan Taylor, & Kyle Larson on the cover.

The car he posted was cheap, heavy, and slow too, just slightly less of the first two and more on road courses and less on ovals the last one. They were fugging 3 seconds slower at Long Beach than a good race car.

Despite the completely unnecessary second wing element forced on them at speedways other than Indy the 3.5L engines were beefy enough to push them to faster qualifying lap times at Fontana than the cucked Champ Cars with the Handford device and super low boost engines from 2001 (not 2002 though) but they dropped 10mph when they nerfed the engines and increased the wing angle and that was already 10-15mph off of the less cucked Champ Cars.
