The Descent is only scary if you're claustrophobic.

Oklahoma auto axe carnage

Eraserhead if you're high and watching on the dark.

Grave Encounters

Get in here and see for yourself

Fuck this movie man, was mad for a couple days after watching it.

What was so bad about it?

Based

It's almost scary how many plebs it filtered.

nigger

It's not even the director's best film you plebe. Dog Soldiers is a million times better than this shite

This movie is fucked up.

Ah an excellent atmospheric slow burn, no jump scares

Saw this while I was doing 3G of cocaine for some reason. I don't remember what happened.

>Le fucking retarded women being retarded
It was more funny than anything. The ending is pants on head the most stupid thing I've ever seen

As above, so below

>friend is evil because she cheated on her husband, i must kill her because of that
Literally the most retarded movie I've ever seen..

This movie isn't scary

looks comfy

yes it is

Honestly the best horror film of the decade.

Pure British horror kino. Dog Soldiers makes a good double-feature.

this, but unironically

How so? I was bored the entire time watching it.

You're thinking of the sequels. The original is great

I remember when all those gook kids got trapped in a cave last year and /pol/ did a cave-themed movie night. This was fun to watch

REC, Hereditary, The Invitation

Not gonna claim they are better but I think they are great.

>Hereditary

this one was pretty good. Kinda stupid when you start thinking about the plot but had good TENSIONN throughout it

>A bone-chilling, atmospheric slow burn by my favorite picture company A24!

Because you’re a pleb. It’s extremely stressful almost the entire way through, and the cook kidnapping is terrifying.

You just sound like a pussy desu. Every horror movie has a "terrifying" situation. And the presentation for this was awful.

I liked Hereditary

The only scary movie was The Exorcist. If you’re reading this your moms a whore

How do you get filtered so hard by the most accessible horror film ever?

it's not scary, it's a hipster meme flick gor fags that think woods are scary

>the presentation for this was awful
What even is your basis for saying this?
The whole film is crafted in a way to be unnerving, everything from the sound to the framing ramps up tension until the very end

This. The whole MUH SLOW BURNS-meme aside, Witch is a great horror movie.

What a terrible flick. Literally every jumpscare was preceded by a musical cue. You would have to be the biggest brainlet on the planet to sit through this shit and be satisfied.

Ending is depressing af pissed me off

One is mad at the chavs

Not the best but one of the best since millennium.

As above, so below

Its just not scary. The original Halloween was better than it.

based

That’s your opinion, but your opinion is objectively incorrect.

Ending pissed me off but in the best of ways. One of those movies you randomly think about for years after.

Blair Witch Project

This is when Horror was top-notch kino and a very respected genre in the highest order. Definitely a great decade for it.

horror has never been a respected genre

for you

When it was less about gore and more about the atmosphere it was. The '80s during the time of rebellion is when it started to become more taboo in the film industry. You should remember, films like Dracula, Frankenstein, and Psycho were highly acclaimed films.

Honestly I never got the hype for this and I shit my pants about Ted the Caver for literal years.

Part 2 starting now

Redpilled

I HATE JUMPSCARE

SLOW BURN GOOD

The Descent would have been vastly improved if A) they hadn't shown the monster in full view under a spotlight before anything scary had even really happened, and B) there were no monsters at all and it was just the gradual descent into paranoia and potentially cannibalism in a dark, claustrophobic underworld.

Now if you want some real gas station kino, Splinter is top notch.
