He isn't smart enough to piece together that Jon is the one that killed his mother, or even that she's necessarily been murdered. He only knows Jon as a friend. But he doesn't see the chair as an enemy, he just wants to burn things in frustration (after all, it's primarily what he's been trained to know).

The whole point of the WOT5K is the opposite of this, look who Robert delegated to, littlefinger, varys, tywin, pycelle, the same people he complained about to ned about being corrupt he empowered. The point is that it's fucking bad that the dragon melted the throne at all. The excuse that the dragon understands symbolism is a shitty explanation as to why it did that instead of fucking eating Jon. Grey Worm has no idea what the Wall is used for. In fact, the Wall has no use now. Grey Worm even leaves before Jon's "punishment" can be carried out. The Wildlings worship Jon as a god, too. LOL
