The Secret of the Ooze is a bit cheesy as fuck but still entertaining.

It it vastly better than any TMNT film had any right to be. Yes it takes much of it from the original comics, but let's be clear, the reason it was made was the 1980s cartoon, and it does take stuff from that too.

It has some cheesy elements but it is the right mix of light-hearted fun (Mikey making jokes, the nunchuck spin) while having a few touching moments so it isn’t a complete farce (the Turtles missing their father Slinter, Leo being by Ralph’s side as he heals).
