The spoony we have now is a shell of his former self. He teeters on the edge of insanity with a social media and alcohol addiction that's going to be the death of him. On top of that, he's completely lost himself to politics with Trump living rent free in his head. He's lost all his passion for what he did, and if he returned, anything he'd make would be an empty husk created by a depressed man who is a shadow of his former self. It's quite sad actually. So I'd prefer to have the nostalgia of the Spoony I enjoyed than see it ruined with the return of a Spoony who isn't quite Spoony at all.
