Red pill me on this stupid show, my girlfriend begged and pleaded with me to watch it. The first 15ish minutes were marginally interesting, then came the next 2 hours of LITERALLY NOTHING HAPPENING

I mean I swear to god

"We looked for this little dipshit kid and couldn't find him" for 2 entire hours, then finally the plot kind of started moving with the mom talking to him, but I was so disinterested in wasting 2 hours of my life that I legitimately didn't care.

What even gets people so hyped up for this show?

It's made for teenagers

kys

Same. There were no car chases, tits, rappers or explosions in the first couple of hours

You're an idiot.

It has the cute kid who plays Mike women love so much

nigger you know what I mean. We're introduced to the conflict in the first 5 minutes, then it takes a backseat to state the obvious for the majority of the series.

It basically does what twin peaks does but badly

who the fuck cares? You don't find something interesting and thats fine, but don't be a total nig nog and act like it's impossible for someone to enjoy something you don't like. People like different things, and just because the story doesn't interest you, doesn't mean it won't interest millions of other ppl. Stop being a fag.

I feel like this show wasn't meant for normies.

>Implying this thread says stop liking what I don't like

Read again, although I'm starting to get an idea of why people like it.

Why do people on this board always always say "literally nothing happens"?
Are they watching a blank screen? Did their power go out or something?

because nothing happens, we're given extremely slow character development that doesn't need to be an hour long, and we're rehashed the idea that this kid can't be found, which is established well within the start of the show and doesn't need to be reminded to the audience unless we are to assume the viewer is completely and utterly braindead.

There's a reason most shows that do a "character disappearing" act skip over the search part unless it's actually relevant to the plot

But there is literally something happening. Discussions are taking place which help flesh out characters. That's an objective fact whether you like it or not. I recommend you watch this if you want your complaint to be valid.

Oh so you're an overreactionary. Got it.

I felt the same way when I watched finding nemo. Oh the dad goes to look for the son, wow, an hour an a half later...what...nothing? Yeah, thanks pixar, you guys are geniuses of animation, really carrying Walt's legacy you fucking niggers.

Director got his ideas for it from anime. The 80's shit is over the top for nostalgia purposes. The monsters are cool. Its comfy but people die.

I refuse to believe this is a genuine post.

Low iq alert
