I've only seen screencaps and youtube clips, but this entire film feels like a fever dream. The live action Grinch film mostly looks accurate, while this one is just some off the wall nonsense and adding all sorts of real world references and jokes, like this. It looks and feels like one of those horror parody of kids shows that is actually creepy and gross.
The family of Dr. Seuss saw this film, and forbade any more live action adaptions because of it. It's that bad.
