I'm a big lee fan, but Quentin's portrayal (i havnet seen it yet) is probably closer to reality than the many idealized/rose tinted view people want to see BL with. Lee was a hothead and a bully. He was also an adulterer, cheating on his wife in at least two now known instances that carried on for years (betty ping and sharon farrel ) and, and probably many one night affairs after he became famous.

there was nothing like the UFC at the time. Absolutely nothing like that. In america the professional combat sport scene consisted of boxing and precious little else. Lee helped some of the guys who pioneered the full contact karate (what would later become american kickboxing) scene and many of them held his abilities in high regard. I keep hearing people say that but not with any kind of good source. Here’s a good question, have any other people have their sweat glands removed before? Like is this a thing that’s done? Because if there are no documented cases of people having their sweat glands removed(meaning Bruce would be the only one ever to do it) I’m calling bullshit.
