bitches

What DID it mean?
That his wife's a fucking spider? Spider's symbolically don't fit here. Maybe a snake or a monkey would mean something, but a spider? They look spooky but their cultural and traditional representation don't quite make sense here. If anything it only confuses the film and makes it pretentious.

It was a spider

>spiders trap their prey
>pregnant wife traps you into committing
>hurr durr it doesnt fit

it means you've wasted 2hr of your time on a shity movie.

is that from enemy?

Yes, it's the very last shot of the movie

He's not afraid of the "spider" anymore.

The alien spider infiltration was real all along and the invasion has begun.

What movie???

I fucking hate movies that are just a metaphor.
>Buhu i am in a spiderweb
>I don't like my wife now because baby in pussy
>Buhuhu she makes me feel bound

This

Is this movie worth watching?

Enemy. Its very... metaphorical... Not Villeneuve's best.

this

If you like seeing 2h visual representations of metaphors, then yes. If you want a plot/character driven plot, no.

>a giant fucking spider

EDF
EDF

Women weave webs to trap you. His mother and his wife were always surrounded with imagery of spiders. His mother being the gigantic one towering above the city and his wife being the one invading his home. I really liked this movie but some of the metaphors about spiders just seem pretentious.

An advanced alien race that resembles spiders invades Earth and takes the form of a man, to learn about the ethnography of their new home.

spider sex

It's a statement on fascism.

it was worth watching just because melanie laurent still hadn't transition into a man

I dont know but it scared the living shit out of me mainly because I have the phobia of spiders whatever its called

Too bad. It sounded intriguing at first.

Latinoamericana magical realism. Basically reality has we understand it in civilized societies are not full picture of human nature, in mental and physical levels. The unpredictability of reality can hit us any time in any place.

fuck the us military

>walk backwards through doorframe
>spider can't reach you anymore

Boy that was hard

Last minute jump scare. They just came up with the symbolism later when they were asked. Asspull.

>spider can move

Well there goes your super well thought out plan, genius.

There's at least 4 feet distance between them, unless he hops backwards on one foot there's no reason he can't get away.

The spider is the wife, it’s not an actual spider

But it is a giant spider
