I've always wondered, in the Plinkett Star Wars prequel reviews where RLM filmed the scene of all the dilapidated disgusting house/basment/garage, whatever it was. Did they just find a shitty empty dilapidated place in Wisconsin to film in, or did they construct those disgusting sets themselves?

Yes that's what I was talking about, he spent way too much time on that, and I think the review is pretty shit because of it. The film was like a 4/10 at best anyway, so maybe he didn't really have much to work with other than "this is just A New Hope reboot". Whether it was his theory or not, it was stupid, and even more stupid to use a theory that isn't even his own, spending way too much time on it.

Did you see the video where they melted a ton of (i think?) OT toys? I don't buy toys or collect Star Wars products, but if those were like 40 years old wouldn't they be worth something? IIRC, there was a Star Wars toy shortage back in the late 70s/early 80s, right?
If those toys were actually worth something, I highly doubt the money made from the video would recoup the cost. W/e they were probably mass produced and worth like $5 at most for the rarest ones. That still does seem like quit a bit of money due to the volume of toys they melted. Or maybe it was fake, idk...

I'm curious as to how many subs they had before the Phantom Menace review vids started going up and how long it took for them to gain any traction.
