Would working in a kinoplex be comfy/enjoyable? Can anyone who worked at one say?

As long as you don't mind picking up my trash.
where's bonbi?
I work in one. It’s fucking dead, most of the time. Fun though. Low effort job with free movies
I want to take that twink to the bathroom and demolish his bussy
kys sodomite
How often do you interact with annoying people?
>hi again user, it's been a while since you came here to watch kinocape and other classics. I have been promoted to manager and since you are a valuable customer, you can have all the crab legs you want on the house, please accept this courtesy and enjoy your movie
Why is Robert so fucking based?
*does a cool guy stroll to the podium*
Hey there, Robert, old chum!
*spins around, does a snap and double guns*
How's about lookin' the other way while I take this blonde haired qt out back and clap dem cheeks?
*pulls down sunglasses, winks at qt*
Is this kinoplex season 2?
I worked in one back in the late 00's. Being a basic employee sucks because your job boils down to cleaning theaters. A job that would be almost completely unnecessary if people just threw shit away themselves, but they almost never do. It's really hard to show respect and deference for your customers (we had to call them "guests") when they seemingly go out of their way to make cleaning up after them more difficult. Additionally, your theater will likely put showtimes as close together as possible, giving you a less and less realistic amount of time to clean a large area.
I got so annoyed by managers telling me to clean faster, but also to do a better and more thorough job, that I did everything I could to get shifts selling the snacks instead of having to clean them up. Eventually I became a projectionist, which was awesome because it was quiet, technical, and the Projection Manager actually knew what he was doing. I'm not sure if it's still as cool now because the technology has likely changed, but working with actual giant reels of film was really fun.
Not much, actually. People generally just want to get their transactions over with. I will say this though, every person who walks through the door on an average day is ugly as shit and literal trash.
Made me even more racist because I see trash of the white, black, and every other shade of brown in between variety. Except asians. They don’t turn up AT ALL
>ywn watch a kinoplex sitcom starring Robert.
Essentially just a cleaning job. And dealing with the occasional delinquents and people who sit in the wrong seats.
Robert?
Did you get a promotion?
Hot dang my nigga. You deserve it.
Dont listen to the larpers above
Working a theater fucking sucks and most of the time you will probably be working the concession bar which is the worst. Constantly dealing with assholes who dont know what they want and you are often understaffed so it gets pretty stressful. Cleaning theaters was actually the best job bc you rarely interact with customers and can chill with work bros.
Now Lane I can get into.
> And dealing with the occasional delinquents
Maybe it was just the area I lived in, but I never met so many cheap, piece of shit niggers (of all races) as I did when I worked at AMC. There was a regular cast of characters who would show up at least twice a month trying scam free shit out of us. They were familiar with our company policy of just giving away free tickets and snacks until a the complaining customer goes away, and would abuse it constantly. Not to mention all the poor teenagers clumsily trying to sneak in.
I just got an offer yesterday to work at my favorite movie theater. Literally only need to walk from my house for 15 minutes and I get there, so this thread is helpful. Thanks Yea Forums.
I'm still considering the offer though, should I?
Work at large kinoplex in center of the city. AMA.
Do you think Robert has "his way" with Lane? Robert is a man who lives and breathes the kinoplex and is married to his work, but a man still needs to be sexually satisfied one way or another.
Test test
Managed and lived in one. AMA if not banned for static IP
Robert's a big guy.
Dont know if you ever had a film fly off the platter.
Spent 3 hours untangling that shit.
I worked in a theatre that was 2nd run in 2014-2015. It was 1 actual film theatre. A few Laptops we just played the dvds since they were out already and what i assume most new theatres have which movies came on harddrives and you can start them right from the concession area.
It was not fun because most of the time it was just me or a helper. So i literally sold concessions/tickets/started the movies/assembled the movies (also not fun in my opinion)/ and cleaned everything basically at night.
>Cleaning theaters was actually the best job
Yea except no. Cleaning up dirty shit covered diapers, used condoms. Beer cans with piss. Popcorn where only 1 person covers like 8 rows .
Soda spills were by far the worse.
Mopoing and sweeping between chair aisle is a bitch
How do u live in one?
Any good stories? Ever had sex at the theater?
