It's really not that great and the queers on here who say its his best are only doing so to feel special

I'm a QT fan, but this was definitely one of his weakest movies. Quite a lackluster follow-up to Pulp Fiction.

Wes Anderson said he thought it was one of the best films of the 90s

It’s actually really good and people don’t want to accept that because of whatever reason.

I loved it when it came out. But yeah Yea Forums is being its contrarian self again. His best are clearly Pulp Fiction and Kill Bill.

You're only adding to my point, queer.

it is his best

Oh that’s just superstition

Because they aren't disease ridden queers like yourself.

Fuck off nigger every movie with pam grier is automatically a 10/10 for me.

Why are you so mad about a movie?

Incorrect. Even when I was jerking off to her scenes, I couldn't finish due to this movie's absolute gayness.

yeah..... i'm thinkin he's based and coffypilled

t. good for nothing queer with shit taste in movies

trash thread. trash samefag. try harder next time 'queer'
sage

why do you keep saying queer? did you just hear it for the first time?

P R O J E C T I N G

His best is True Romance

Boo me all you want, queers, your movie is still shit.

I don't even remember what Jackie Brown is about, besides deniro fucking the blonde chick, and I think pam grier steals something in a department store or smuggles money.

All I can remember is the loop of her on the moving sidewalk that played on the DVD menu screen, because my friend left it running on a loop all day long after we watched it.

I'm sorry it didn't have enough violence for you.

What didn't you like about this film?

It was boring as shit. Do I need to be infected with the HIV/AIDS to truly appreciate it?

Keaton and deniro's acting were awful

>le multicultural crime flick

quality conversion

I've tried to watch it and can never make it very far past the scene where Sam Jackson shoots that nigga in the trunk of the car. Am I brainlet? Am I missing very much?

this is Tarantino's greatest work. Also the most explicit footfaggotry he's ever done.

not his work tho.

Her ass was kinda big in Jackie Brown though. And her hair looked dry and brittle. Last time I saw her wen she was still kinda hot, was when Carlton lost his virginity to her on the Fresh Prince.

Hilarious. Jackie Brown is one of the best book adaptations ever. It's apparent nobody really enjoys reading books and novels here. Very sad, I'm just glad I'm not as fucking stupid as most of you. It makes me happy.

Some art isn't for everyone. Don't blame the art, blame yourself. Or you might be autistic, too much led in your blood stream where you can't watch a movie with real people in them.

you have to not be 12 years old

he wrote the screenplay though. I'm sure he said to Rodriguez "and then Salma puts her foot in my mouth and pours liquor down her leg"

Kill Bill was derivative trash. I mean, it was deliberately made to be derivative trash, that was the point, sure. But I can't in good faith give a better than 5/10 rating to a film where literally (actual literally, not metaphorically literally) every single scene is just the director knowingly winking at the audience and going "hey do you remember THIS movie that I'm referencing NOW? Do you? Of course you do because I copied it shot for shot. Just wait, in the next scene I'm going to copy something else instead." Watching Kill Bill is fun like once, because the gimmick is kinda cute, but once you know the gimmick it's more enjoyable to rewatch any of the older (mostly better) movies he's referencing instead.

even tho Tarantino wrote the screenplay, it is not his work because Rodriguez is the ultimate creator of the film.

>True Romance
technically not an actual tarantulino movie. that was directed by Tony "No, the other brother" Scott.

It's still his "work" but not his "directorial work". Usually he writes and directs, and the scripts are always as important as the directing

scripts are important but it is up to the director how to put it on screen. the film fits in with Rodriguez work more than it does in Tarantino's anyway.

You're soulless.

>hack tarantino's greatest work isn't even his work
How fitting.

Didn't Carlton lose his virginity to this woman?

Anyway I re-watched it and it was sick. Forgot how kino the practical effects are in that movie, and Salma Hayek was a literal goddess at that time

it's a really cool movie yeah.

yeah, agreed with that, it's much more a rodriguez movie. tarantino's influence is barely there. compare to true romance, where he "only" wrote the script, but it is very very obviously a tarantino movie

Maybe you don't belong on this board. I heard that all the people who don't like Jackie Brown go to Reddit, it could be a good fit for you.
