WB

Can't use writers from dcau

Depends on who you ask. I never cared much for Man of Steel and you could tell it was Snyder trying to salvage a pretty mediocre Script he was given but Batman v Superman is genuinely one of my favourite movies ever and I think it's incredibly sad that it ended up such a critical failure. I think it's very, very misunderstood.

Sadly they took that as a sign that the only way to find an audience is to imitate Marvel, which gave us crap like Suicide Squad, Justice League and Shazam. Aquaman and Wonder Woman were actually okay, but even then, really only okay.

They fired Snyder

All their good writers are working on a bunch of cartoons, which is unironically the best cinematic universe in a film series to date.

They could have literally ripped off the TV series and adapted it to a movie. And it would make billions. Batman Superman World's Finest? "Hereafter"? That time green lantern was on trial for genocide? Mr. Frieze as a tragic villain? Superman takes on mongul? Batman vs clayface? The list goes on.

the cartoons have been shit for years

Hack Snyder

They did ripoff the series. Watch the first 3 episodes of Superman Animated Series. It's very similar to Man of Steel.
Snyder still fucked it up.

Snyder was the problem. MoS and BvS were Alan Smithee-tier garbage.

Snyder. He has no clue how to make a movie. He even fucked up shit that was laid out for him.
The guy shouldn't be allowed near a set.

The movies need more Batgirl.

>still caring for movies with people

DC Animated movies are the best fucking capeshit movies i've ever watched

Didio

I'd love to see this, or Batgirl year one. But unfortunately they are going to use her new smarmy woke zoomer form written by 40year olds.

They didn't just give their animated stuff a bigger budget and release it all as feature length films.

They could also just have the people that make their animated stuff make the live action shit.

>They didn't just give their animated stuff a bigger budget and release it all as feature length films.
Would've been fantastic. Animating it all would not only be more visually appealing/interesting, it would make it easier to depict weirder characters like Plastic Man, The Creeper, Etrigan, etc.

"We can do it too"

It was too rushed, WB couldn’t decide on the tone they wanted, Snyder although passionate wasn’t talented enough to create a good universe
The Dark Knight Returns and Year One are kino

my favorite is flash point followed close by all stars superman
