>almost half of the $1 billion in damages from the LA Riots was in Koreatown
>as the mobs of rioting blacks moved northward toward Hollywood, the police set up roadblocks and barricades at the far edge of Koreatown to keep the mobs from entering the more exclusive communities beyond
Imagine being a store owner in Koreatown as a literal wave of blacks thunders into your neighborhood, finds they can't get any farther because of the police barricades, and starts burning shit all around you.

Most of their predictions were based on the idea that AT&T's landline technology would continue to dominate the world. They didn't really have wireless on their radar because it didn't seem like we would be able to transfer much data that way, and AT&T was definitely not a "cell phone company" in 1993.
Then a couple years later the cell phone revolution hit and all bets went out the window.
Anyone know what song is playing on those commercials? I've been wanting a copy since they first aired.
