Episode 4 made me feel awful and was the most emotionally impacting episode besides the first one. I was fine until they showed the cats looking curious in the tall grass, those close up quiet shots absolutely killed me.

It was my least favorite episode. I didn't all emotional
It actually showed how far-reaching the disaster was in Russian society, and I felt bad for all the guys who were getting irradiated without knowing it.
Last thread:
>not getting emotional thinking about these lads not making it, never seeing their owners again, their owners knowing they were lost forever
what was his problem?
I didn't think the episode was shit, it was just my least favorite. I was far more interested in the NPP workers and the official 31 to die, etc.
The animal scene is sad, but it felt a little forced after a time. Like Schindler's List...we get it already...it was horrible. Now show me more rotting flesh and control room drama.
>Hello little kittookins :3
They were the best
the show made perevozchenko out to be a complete moron
post your favourite plantfu, anons
HE WAS A GOOD BOY
It's okay. All kitties go to a better place.
I didn't think so...?
Impeccable taste, user.
Which was more anxiety inducing:
>Bridge of Death
>Going into the core
>Divers
>the fucking roof
>The actors were ugly in bridge of death, so I didn't care
>Going into the core was more wonderment than anxiety for me
>Divers scenes were stright up scary for me, especially the winding/cranking sound of the auxiliary flashlight
>The roof gave the diarrhea cramps, I was so anxious. That one fucking guy who kept falling and cut his shoe almost sent me over the edge.
The roof.
Did /RBMK/ know that Sam Troughton (Akimov) and Paul Ritter (Dyatlov) did a radio play together once?
I wish I still had the capacity to feel things as acutely as you do with my emotions being dulled by constant irl exposure to horrific shit
The most I felt was a little bit of foreboding in the first episode when Misha picked up the graphite and started yelling.
So was this episode based on reality at all or not? Legasov said he saw dogs near the power plant and felt sad because he was a massive dogfag and not a catfag like in the show. There's even a video of him petting a dog while Scherbina addresses the liquidators. But Tarakanov said that this episode was the most ridiculous part of the show and that no pets were shot because they had left the area by this point in search of civilization.
Yes
Read voices from Chernobyl
Why would Tarakanov deny it then? Did he just not see the dogs? It's not like he was trying to discredit the show, he praised it to the heavens in that interview.
Legasova is going to fix Chernobyl
Can someone pls post that drawing with Collins, Stanley and having fun at the carnivale
The real story is worse, considering they had to bury a puppy alive in concrete
His name was even Goodsir, he was destined to be a good lad.
This shit freaks me the fuck out. I know it's stupid and trivial after what they went through before but it just feels so unnatural to be sealed off from the rest of the world forever, you know? I want worms to eat me like nature intended.
>named Goodsir
>doctor
>all around chad
>likes plants and stuff
>Genuinely interested in more than muh glory
It hurts bros he was such a good man
I want to see what Akimov's body looks like. He was buried in one of those...
I want to autopsy sweet Vasily
it had to be done. If the worms ate you, they'd become radioactive
Don't let it die you fucks
pic related is young Collins
Anyone have that image of John James and Francis, and their irl counterparts
Post most based characters /ternobyl/
>beautiful
>charming
>intelligent
>heroic and valiant to the point of being compared to a knight by his contemporaries
>selfless to the point of being ready to lay down his life for anyone
>jumped into a river with all his clothes on to save a drowning man, almost drowning too in the process
>complained of having ruined multiple watches with similar antics
>excellent artist and writer
>great sense of humour
>could have any woman he wanted, but never married because the higher pursuits in life are more important
>had a pet cheetah with which he wrestled when it tried to intimidate his crew
>spoke 6 languages
>faced a lot of discrimination due to his low birth but instead of being insecure like his show counterpart it only made him determined to succeed and become an example to others
>even after his death he inspired many other legendary explorers
God it hurts so fucking bad that he had to die the way he did, alone and far away from all that he loved. He was only 32, imagine how much he could have accomplished.
okay, I've to agree, he's cute
For anons interested:
Sam Troughton, who plays Akimov, gave another interview on BBC radio Berkshire.
He's on at about 1:40

bless you, user, I'm going to listening to it after dinner.
Are you working as a paramedic?
I'm a forensics dude
Tarakanov was based, but he wasn't in charge for decontamination of the exclusion zone, but rather the plant itself, so I think he didn't see the whole picture.
Oh, that's even, probably, even worse.
I mentioned paramedics because I know one and my mother is a medic, she used to talk a lot about what she saw and we knew that she did that to clear her mind from what she experienced: like punctured hands, cracked skulls, open wounds, children in pain, etc., so we didn't act disgusted, just listened.
this is the first time i’ve thought collins was cute. nice pic user
That's a good thing to do user, I'm sure she appreciated it.
My city is one of the crime hotspots of the world. I've seen so many raped babies.
