genocide shitskins pls

>named A-train
>trains with a train
Really amazon

Gotta go with Homelander, personally. I can really relate to his inability to relate to anything.

Attached: images (10).jpg (678x452, 25K)

He's a prick and still should be dead but atleast he was funny

you are the real hero user

The Deep had the best moments.

>nigger’s superpower is running fast
>gets roided up to run even faster
>Arab’s superpower use blowing himself up

you also crave mommy's tit?

I want milkies and I WANT THEM RIGHT NOW GODDAMNIT.

>YOU STAY THE FUCK BACK, OR I WILL LASER YOU, GODDAMMIT. I WILL LASER EVERY FUCKING ONE OF YOU!
What did he mean by this?

EVERYBODY HURTS

He's the Best part of this shitty show. Well, he and Butcher. Just like in the comic

Idk the show's pretty decent.

>names A-Train
>pulls A Train
Makes me think

Assuming this show doesn't sink like a rock and actually lasts long enough to finish, how are they going to do the scene where A-Train gets his head pulverized by Hughie now that the character is black? I'm guessing they just won't?

Attached: blart3.jpg (528x724, 306K)

I like how they made him out to be just the worst fucking scum in the first few episodes and then try yo humanize him in such a lazy fucking way. Like we're all of a sudden supposed to give a shit about a guy who splattered a woman while delivering drugs to terrorists and then fucking makes jokes about it AND completely forgets the people affected by it. He also treats "the love of his life" like shit and eventually kills her. But that's all okay because he has FEEEEEEELINGSSSSS and is addicted to super steroids and terrified of losing his job. Pity he wasn't the one Hughie killed, instead of Translucent who should have gone on to be the huge joke they made Deep into. He turns invisible and his fucking name is Translucent. At least The Deep gave a shit about something besides money.

What would happen if you strung a high strength wire across his running path?

>hughie tries to actually fuckin SAVE a-train
>buther is just an angry cuck that nobody likes
I'll stick to the comics, thanks

show homelander was fuckin kino though

Attached: The-Boys-Season-1-Episode-2-Homelander.jpg (1920x816, 60K)

But Butcher fucking sucks anyway.

the deep was also a cunt who they wanted to humanize after the fact
everyone except mm and frenchie are fucking cunts, butcher's wife most of all

like him or not, comics butcher is pretty complex in his simplicity/singlemindedness. and his dubious relationship with hughie is very well written.

show butcher is all over the place, and now is left without motivations at all.
karl urban is doing a good work, but the writing doesn't help IMO

Attached: kino.jpg (1325x2038, 213K)

You fucking idiot, is nuance lost on you? The show isn't trying to humanise the characters at all, it's showing that they are all pieces of shit and inherently selfish, and they will do anything for their benefit.
I can't even remember half the shit Translucent said because it was all completely meaningless and insincere. Bear in mind that maybe 12 hours before begging for his life, he was beating the shit out of Hughie in the electrical shop and about to kill him.
A-Train is convinced Hughie killed Popclaw, despite literally doing it himself, and that's the reason he's so angry, he's completely delusional that he can do no wrong. It's not meant to be okay and the show doesn't portray it as okay. That's why there's the comic dissonance between him getting all pumped up for revenge, and then just collapsing on the floor after having a heart attack.

deep is actually us and homelander is who we (and he) all want to be

Is amazon secretly redpilled?

wow calm down eh
not him but goddamn dude..

i love the deeps redemption arc

Why did Hugh try to save a-train

I'm haven't thought about that too much.
Hughie was obviously disturbed when he learned that Translucent had a daughter that he spent a lot of time with. Maybe A-Train's confession made him reconsider? Maybe he felt sorry for him since he's such a junkie?
I don't get it personally.

>hughie tries to actually fuckin SAVE a-train
How else is he supposed to impress Starlight and make her forgive him?

>Douche-bag rapist.
>Gets fleshed out as an awkward and pathetic loser who really wants to make a difference, but is too much of an irrelevant push over to do it.
>Loses everything after getting #metooed.
>Further fleshed out as an insecure beta who is ashamed of his body.
>Gets raped by some sicko with a mutant fetish.

Literally, what did they mean by this? Surely sympathetic sexual predators are verboten in amazon land?

Yup

Comic book Butcher is just Ennis trying to be edgy for 12 year olds. Making his character a literal cuck actually adds to his relationship with Homelander, in the comic the only change he has is that he learns he should have hated Black Noir instead

yeah that was dumb
but he was just a desperate manipulative junkie

>the deep has a mental breakdown and does a britney spears
>acts like he fucked up even though he looks badass with a shaved head

You know how much shit they were giving Annie for her vigilante stunt (before they saw it was good publicity), everything the Seven does is heavily controlled by the PR committee. He probably panicked for a second knowing he'll get chewed out even for just cutting his hair.

I agree with you about comic Butcher, but show butcher being a cuck doesn't really leave his character with anywhere to go, since his reason for hating supes and homelander has been replaced with a piece of shit wife who cheated on him and then left him without a word to raise another man's son. Remember that he also tried to commit suicide moments before finding out that his wife fucked him over for years, that's gotta weigh on the mind.

>everyone assuming Homelander was telling the truth and ignoring the fact that he came in seconds when he was fucking mommy
Come on now fellas

A-Train was the biggest asshole of the show.

>The Boys only killed Invisible Peepee, Mesmer, and indirectly caused some spikey drug addict to die

They kinda suck in the tv show huh

That makes no fucking sense you retard. If he raped her, he still fucked her, and she was still in there for three hours. The fuck that he came prematurely with the old bitch doesn't point either way.

It forces Butcher to reevaluate his mission in life. As much as The Boys is a subversion of the idea of superheroes, it also subverts the idea of the badass antihero who does what he wants and doesn't take shit from anyone

Attached: RCO013.jpg (1053x1600, 514K)

Is the comic worth reading ? I don't read comics usually.

The Deep getting gill-raped was actually the most compelling fictional sexual assault scene I've seen despite it being ridiculous.

Why did he let her do it? He's literally super strong.

Outside of Starlight being an even bigger bitch and story exposition sometimes lasting a really long time, it's quite alright. The art hurts sometimes though.

a train is literally any black athlete who got up to the top of his game and makes stupid mistakes
jon jones
jordan
woods
etc.

Is he? I was under the impression that talking to sea animals and breathing underwater was all he could do. Otherwise he'd probably be less threatened by Starlight threatening him with her powers.

It's good but you should consider that it's both very much a product of the 2000's and it's far more about the comics industry than the tv show, which is more about the current capeshit landscape.

I would say yes, a couple of volumes might not be up your street but generally I enjoyed it. This is the only Superhero comic I've ever read, never tried out Marvel or Detective comics.

He can beat up armed thugs with ease, he's at least strong enough to get a woman to stop fingering his gills. Regardless, I got the impression that all the superheroes are at least super strong.
A-Train and Starlight were smashing walls with their punches completely apart from their main powers.

It's an edgefest that gets old 2 issues in and should have been finished about 10 issues earlier than it did

because a huge number of dudes getting raped is half-consensual

>Is he?
I only know the show but didn't he effortlessly throw that one guy when he raided the ware house with Starlight?
He seemed pretty fucking strong, at least compared to a normal human. Even if he was just a regular man, he could have overpowered that thot.
Makes no sense to me. Also her sticking her hand into his gills was really fucking unsettling.

Deep said he went 2 miles down underwater when he searched for the plain, thats an insane amount of pressure, he has to be super strong and probably bullet proof

All supers seem to have some degree of strength, durability and healing factor.

*plane

Maybe Compound V gives you those powers either way and you just get whatever else as a bonus.
Injecting it seems to temporarily increase strength (see Popclaw lifting) and healing (see A-Train's broken leg healing over night).

True enough, hopefully they can pull it off.

He loved having his gills fingered. Also if he had fought back she would have accused him of rape.

>Also if he had fought back she would have accused him of rape
The absolute state of America

For me, it's Sue Storm

Attached: 1551303669352.jpg (546x1649, 360K)

The Child Actor who could read memories through his hands didnt seem to have any sort of super powers other than that.

Just a reminder that this is Ultimate Sue and Reed, and her bullshit ended up turning Reed into this monster.

Attached: main-qimg-b8b30aa4643d0ed3952408d77b374834.jpg (602x615, 243K)

I really enjoy when stretchy/transforming super heroes get used to their terrifying potential.

Maker is the hero we deserve

Attached: 1563959024339.jpg (494x750, 42K)

He might be physically strong, but he's also a passive coward who lets people walk all over him on a day to day basis. The only time he ever has any power in the show is when he tricks starfire into thinking that he's important, every other scene is either him going "hey, I'd really like to help the fish" and people around him being like "Yeah ok, fish boy" and dismissing him or him being bitched out by homelander over the jet attack.

You are right. It seems like anyone injected with Compound V has strength, durability and healing like Female barring certain circumstances which give them more spectacular but less practical powers.

>Ruler of his own dome kingdom for thousands of years
>Still completely hung up on the slut who left him to ride the cock carousel when he was 17
He's a cuck.

You wish were the deep, we're all Mesmer and you know it.

Mesmer is actually us and Popclaw's landlordis who we all want to be.

His bones are fucked, that's enough punishment.

kek
absolutely worth it

>say no to a thot
>she goes to the press, who are still in a frenzy about you raping someone, and tells them that you raped her
She had the high ground.

>probably bullet proof
It seems like all of the Supes are bulletproof?
Starlight got double-tapped by a 50cal and it just winded her for a bit.

He healed from that broken leg in less than a week, if the heart attack didn't kill him he'll be up and doing stupid shit in the first episode of the next season.

>He healed
It's not about that, but the fact that Female broke his leg that easily. His brother even said V is making him weaker .

He had a heart attack because his heart was huge from the V overuse. His leg healed overnight from using V. I can see him being a persistent asshole until his brother is begging for his life though and then Hughie spares him again which seems like one of the purposes of that brother character.

He only healed that fast because he was juicing on V

I was really suprised they didn't kill A-Train when they had him dead to rights hopping around on one fucking leg with the bone sticking out of it.

And save him from heart attack I guess. Fuckin pussies

Calling it now, druggie flash is going to be TOTALLY REDEEMED in the next season. He'll save Hughie and/or heroically sacrifice himself.

For me it's the Deep, he just wanted to get his dick sucked and hang out with his dolphin friends

The only problem I have with this show is that they made the Seven too likeable.

>the only change he has is that he learns he should have hated Black Noir instead
Yeah that's a pretty major change nigger

He's spent a large part of his life singlemindedly pursuing the wrong guy

>hughie blends invisiman because it felt good
>lets the guy who blended his gf, threatened him and his dad with death go

I will actually drop the show the instant it happens because its pandering. He is not the type to be redeemed. The only people on the Seven that can be redeemed are Noir, Deep and Maeve.

White guy can't kill a black guy. MM or Female has to do it and I'm not even kidding.

I thought it was more that he sploded Translucent because if he escaped he would expose them all. A-Train was pathetic and had more or less already killed himself with his own drug addiction. Why give him the mercy of a swift death?

If they kept them as Ennis-style cunts then the show would be unwatchable for normies. I was worried about all the changes they made but it's actually pretty nice if you view it like an alternate universe.

Yes
Also, fuck single mom.
They bring nothing good

Vought-American is actually more threatening in the comics, and so are The Boys in that note. Kinda surprised they didn't have a trigger happy Dakota Bob, especially how you could make however many DRUMPF jokes you'd want with it.

the art is fucking awful. American can't draw and can't use colors.

I'm actually really happy they didn't go that route. Not because I like Trump, I don't. But I'm sick to fucking death of political commentary and the easy as fuck jokes that come from Trump and his presidency. It would have been more lazy than A-Train's abrupt turn around after killing his girlfriend.

Read the comic but haven't seen the show, is Director Kessler still in it?

Attached: The Boys Omnibus vol 01 (2012) (digital-Empire) 023.jpg (1989x3056, 1.32M)

I can kiiiind of understand, I guess if they killed A-Train Homelander would be on their ass in seconds to take them out (remember they have trackers showing when their vitals go quiet).
Also, Huey wants some Starlight succ and killing someone she works with isn't advisable.

A-train was based, finnaly diversity hire hits home, his character was made to be a nigger

It seems Jeff Goldblum is a fan as well.

Attached: 6760092x2rd31.jpg (1125x1391, 308K)

>yeah thats right hughie i just killed all our friends, but not you hughie... you pathetic self insert of beta-comic book writer go bang that cheerleader and live happy life *dies*
great writing

Maeve is too beaten down and bitter to be redeemed. Noir hasn't done anything really evil yet, and I'd much rather they pull off some awesome reveal with him, or just more little funny scenes, than try and redeem someone who has been such a non-character so far.

As for The Deep, I was severely disappointed he didn't just immediately run off and start killing Japanese whalers/start an undersea army to combat ocean pollution and commercial fishing.

Ironically the Deep was supposed to be Black and do virtually nothing the entire series aside from get called a nigger by Homelander and a cunt by Butcher. He is the only one aside from Starlight to survive the series.

I see your point, honestly. Milking Believe Expo for all they could was already a bit of a pain, even if Ennis the Benis did pretty much the same. In the end it was a decent S1 and the second season has potential to spice things up

>I hate the wrong man but should have hated his identical clone instead

this is what happens when edgelords like Ennis don't have anyone to filter out their shitty ideas

I just assumed he blew up Translucent because he got sick of being treated like he didn't matter, and he hated being so powerless in life. It didn't help that Translucent didn't even try to hurt him, just said some smug shit, in a smug way, then waltzed off like Hughie and the detonator were no threat at all.

A-Train is great and all but can he outrun cancer?

Attached: interrogation.jpg (900x920, 142K)

Maeve still cares so she can be redeemed and even in the comics had one. Noir is a fucking wild card at the moment. The Deep has the most potential of anyone for both redemption and comedy.

remnder Noir is a Homelander clone

It also has pages like this!

Attached: -212 copy.jpg (1000x1537, 353K)

ok

The original joke with The Deep and A-Train is that white people can't run fast and black people can't swim. That wouldn't have gone over well.

Now the joke is that The Deep is shallow as fuck, and a moron. And the REAL joke is that A-Train can't just be a piece of shit who gets his comeuppance because now he's black and making him so one dimensional and having him killed by a white guy would be super racist.

The show Is ok. Acting gets really shitty sometimes, especially from the Starlight chick. I dont get why tv/ lost their minds to it

I sincerely doubt they'll redeem a "rapist". He'll just continue being comic relief and do nothing that matters in the main story line. He'll probably have some abrupt, goofy death too.

only in the dumb comics

Kyle Ritter.

This was the worst thing Ultimate every did and that include Ultimatum. Holy shit the Maker was awesome then he loses so unceremoniously to his own ai and Sue.

>I sincerely doubt they'll redeem a "rapist".
He got raped, his career's dead, his friends keep getting killed in front of him and he finally had a mental breakdown after an entire season of this bullshit. He's getting redeemed.

I wasn't using the word rapist seriously. The majority of their viewers will see what he did with Startits as rape. Therefore he's a "rapist", and in their eyes he can never be redeemed. If they try to it'll piss a lot of idiots off. Nevermind that Starslit should have seen through his shit in an instant and all she really had to do was walk out of the room and talk to literally anyone else about the situation and she never would have ended up with a mouthful of fish stick.

BRING BACK THE FUCKING DOOOOOG

Attached: 1503586114975.jpg (976x674, 367K)

So if Noir isn't secretly Omegalevel degenerate baby eater, what the fuck are they gonna do with him?

I really love how they shit so absolutely all over Anthony Mackie.

How so?

WHORE

No he isnt. So no based cripple fetish either

And OJ.

I thought he was going to cut or shave his gills.

Well, shit. I was hoping we would see him enjoy one of the two McSweeps from three years ago, or something of that nature.

It's a pretty important comic book. I hate how Ellis hits in the gut in relation to how he destroys the concept of heroism and the consequences of transhumanism, but it's really worth navigating through that to have important comments regarding

>The relationship between military industry and government
>How different symmetrical and asymmetrical forces sustain their power relations in order to maintain some kind of geopolitical balance.
>How the Western intelligence community struggles to maintain hegemony
>What is our relationship with modern heroic figures
>How people's idealization and innocence are used to exercise power over them

The Boys can fail in many places, it can be unpleasant and uncomfortable at times, but Ennis knows where it is pointing. Personally I don't like that love-hate relationship that authors like Ennis, Ellis, Moore and Morrison have with comics. It's like I get beaten up in an alley every time I read their rawest works, but I think the reason is that they're seeing the long-term effects and fighting it from the inside.
Somehow they hate capeshit as much or even more than user, but they have power over it, so they use it to help mark new paths. Transhumanism will be the great theme of the next hundred years. Without their beatings, we go blind to the meat grinder.

Attached: theboys.jpg (400x616, 61K)

For me? Gotta go with Homelander - strong, intelligent, nihilistic with a wicked sense of humor. Just like me

Context?

I truly hope that this is bait.

It is an interpretation of tutelage using the lowest possible denominator.

It looks like a not!Batman is more attracted to his not!Robin than the villain that they're banging, am I right?

who is getting railed? starlight?

A love/hate relationship with comics is natural and commonplace, as a writer, illustrator or even a reader.

Attached: KirbyKid600px.jpg (600x859, 580K)

unironically why Yea Forums loves so much that edgy shitty show

>edgy
yikes!

Attached: 1560800504134.png (884x874, 714K)

Translucent is the coolest. He walks around with his dick out, and doesn't afraid of anything

That Asian chick isn't

She wasn't duped since birth, though.

If they weren't trying to humanize them, why show all those moments of The Deep's insecurity? Or A-Train struggling to accept that he can't be the fastest without Compound V and Maeve wanting to help people but Homelander not allowing it?

They are obviously trying to make them sympathetic and without those 2 scenes in ep 1 with A-Train and Deep they can almost be seem as flawed heroes.

Also A-Train never thought Hughie literally killed Popclaw, he just told himself that after Homelander planted the idea and justified it that it was his fault somehow.

The Female and eventually The Boys will be doped up on V in a way that gives them the same standard powers she has which are just huge boosts to strength, speed, endurance, durability and recovery. Its a secret that Vought keeps quiet but they know how to make generic supers with the same powers as The Female but they don't want to lose their monopoly.

This will probobly not happen, the creator himself told that he would rather have the boys outwit the superheroes like they did with transluncent and I agree with this concept.
