Hey fellows, what is the best way to access films at home? I just canceled Hulu and Prime because they aren't worth a damn. Had and canceled Netflix a few years ago because it is absolute trash. What do you guys use? Is piracy my only recourse?
I have a drive in near me which I go to about once a month or so but the selection is minimal even if it is a lot of fun.

I don't get people like you, piracy for personal use is literally the easiest shit ever, most convenient too, any shit that you can find on your streaming services is also on torrent trackers, but there's also a ton of shit you find on torrents that you can't find on those shitty services because they either don't have the rights or some other bullshit to it

The thing I (theoretically) liked about streaming services is the idea that rather than plan ahead what I wanted to watch I could just flip through a few movies on a convenient screen when the movie-watching mood struck me and find something good. Of course no streaming service works like this in practice and I have probably spent about as much time looking for a movie to watch as I have watching them.

Eh, there's a lot of movies that aren't worth going to the theaters and seeing, and it's not like them being camrips somehow lowers the quality of an already shit movie. That said, I feel like at that point, you may as well just not watch, but at the same time, I get wanting to be a part of the discussion (and a part of the shittalk) so I get watching camrips. Also, you can't speed up a movie in the theaters. You can't pause it or go back and rewatch a scene you want to talk about or quote.
