PUREKINO.

Streaming everywhere. No reason, no excuse, not to watch.

you have to be over 18 years old to post here

This is such an unfunny trope in Chinese movies

>lol the old woman is actually extremely tough lol

>expecting me to know a random Chinese movie

>chinese
kys

i dont think its a trope. from what ive seen in real life, chinese women in general abuse the shit out of their husbands/boyfriends.

someone post that picture comparing chinese/korean/japanese relationships in public vs private

am i the only one who prefers shaolin soccer to kung fu hustle, albeit VERY slightly

>Kung Fu Hustle is a 2004 Hong Kong-Chinese martial arts gangster comedy film

the music in this movie is absolute top notch

Yeah. Steve made his bones on Shaolin. But for me, it’s Kung Fu hustle. Afterwards he went full Beijing and sucking up to the commies.

But Hustle is good kino. Even the blind girl schmaltz worked.

Love the scene with the knives and snakes.

He has a ton of good movies actually, a lot of them don't even have subtitles though, so that sucks

vased

>they're making a sequel

Will it be good or did they just wait too long?

A lot of his early movies are super underrated. His best work was God of Cookery, but my personal favorite is From Beijing With Love

youtu.be/c7hGR8XJwhE

Probably the latter.

kek

Kung Pow

it's very well known

You have to REALLY fuck up bad to get to the point where she’s gonna kick your ass.

I was surprised I liked his very last one, the new king of comedy.

God of Cookery is on youtube with subs

Thank you, user

this movie had so much soul
if they're making a sequel i hope it doesn't become a parody of itself

who else wanted to be Stephen Chow?

Uh I really loved Journey to the West.
His comedy partner was in the newest blockbuster, and I'm happy for him.

Saucer?

Ok Yea Forums serious question to filter the plebs , kung fu hustle dub or sub ?

One of my favorite movies.

sub. was there more than one dub version? because i swear i liked the dub at one point, but when i went to rewatch the movie, the dub was way off from what i remembered, and i just couldnt handle the voices.

Hitman with Jet Li

According to Armond White, Stephen Chow’s latest comedy is full of soul and he is among the last directors to have SOUL.

any other kinos where people fight with musical instruments?

yeah

I am legit in love with this women.

>Cheung Cheun-Nam, known professionally as Yuen Qiu (Chinese: 元秋; born 19 April 1950), is a Chinese actress and martial artist. She is an expert of both Chinese martial arts and Beijing-opera skills, and was apprenticed at the Peking Opera School under the same master, Yu Jim-yuen, as Jackie Chan, and Sammo Hung Kam-Bo.In 1974, Yuen had a small role in the international production, The Man with the Golden Gun (1974), portraying a student rescuing Roger Moore as James Bond. In 1979, Yuen was able to demonstrate her acrobatic and kicking abilities in Dragon's Claw. In 1970s, there were limited opportunities for stuntwomen. After being away from the Hong Kong film industry for nearly 20 years, she landed a role in Kung Fu Hustle only by chance. She was accompanying a junior woman fellow of the China Drama Academy at the audition but the director's eye was on her. It was reported that Stephen Chow convinced her to take on the role only after unremitting and persistent persuasion.

She made the kino.

Chow’s casting of the tailor, etc Masters (HK KF icons) was truly inspired
