chart huge narrow it down lol
IF THE CHARTSPACE WERE MORE EXTENSE, I WOULD HAVE BEEN ABLE TO INCLUDE MORE.
last 40ish ive seen very roughly sorted with my favorites at the top
this music yo
i respect this so il watch master and commander + sky captain (lol i even bouught it on dvd way back) which i havent seen
grossly entry level.
no pretentious bullshit though. just visual greatness
It doesn't need to be pretentious for it not to be basic. A chart like that might be sincere but the sincerity comes from ignorance and lack of experience in the medium.
pretentious homo :DD
You want this dick in your ass faggot?
Apt responses. Improvement simply does not suit you.
i havent seen most of the black and white ones on there. are all of them peak kino?
Must be hard to breathe with your head so far up your ass
yes they are
You're being unnecessarily unkind. Sincerity is something the world needs more of. If you think his faves are entry level, why not give some suggestions to the next step?
Nice bro
Great point. I think because of his much enjoys on visuals, he would enjoy Seijun Suzuki movies. Tokyo Drifter would be a great place to start.
This sounds like something I'd enjoy too. Thanks for the rec.
tokyo drifter is a wild ride of a movie. all of sejun suzukis movies are worth watching. branded to kill is hilarious but its not in colour though but that kinda works in favor of the absurd grity gangster genre meltdown.
based
You're cool with me for Le Samourai and the Mad Max's
Fargo is a perfect film
>Sorceror
very nice
Very nice.
I'm not his mother, being forward is not being unkind. Telling him to branch out is helping him. If he wants recs he should ask, not post some basic chart looking for praise and sluring at anyone who dares speak the truth.
>TR/ST - Joyland
good shit. like his new album too and the lead single for part 2 is very promising
youtube.com
>LA Confidential
fuck yeah, got to watch this in high school film class and absolutely loved it. seen it nearly a dozen times since and love it just as much everytime. They don't make 'em like that anymore
Branded To Kill is my favorite from him, but Tokyo Drifter being in color will be easier for people to jump into. Recently watched Gate of Flesh and Detective Bureau 2-3: Go To Hell, Bastards, and really enjoyed them both. The former uses color brilliantly, and the latter is just a really entertaining yakuza movie.
Need to watch more of him post-Nikkatsu.
Oh shit, he's releasing a part two? I like everything TR/ST has done so far, I just favor Joyland for some reason.
LA Confidential is very rewatchable, makes me wonder what happened to Guy Pearce's career.
>THREE HOURS OF WORK.jpg
So this is the power of autism...
:)
Fucking incredible... not one of you has good taste.
>Mads in a Western
I'm listening.
Are We Arc? is my go to song for driving around town at night.
post chart
t. film """student"""" who pretends to enjoy mcdonald's arthouse
>Danish-produced Western shot in South Africa
Starring Mads, Eva Green and Jeffrey Dean Morgan. It's a bizarre formula but I'll be damned if it isn't one of the best modern Westerns. Full movie is on youtube

Thanks for the hook up. I'll give it a whirl soon.
Anyway, I made mine

>I am one with the force, the force is with me
Him and the K-2SO were my favourite characters.
Holy FUCK, this board's collective taste is fucking generic.

>> satantango
does it hold up on rewatch??
Wow! First good taste in the thread! Congrats!
would you recommend venom and eternity for someone who wants to be entertained?? wikipedia makes it sound like a huge pile of wank
cheeky bump
I have a sub-90 IQ.
Would you prefer that we pretend to enjoy obscure French claymation films or whatever the latest artfag trend is these days?
saturday night fever, xanadu and wall street > 2 hour long french experimental film from 1952 that features found footage, people at a film society arguing and intentionally damaged film print.
I debated putting Un Homme Qui Dort in the chart but realized I truly, deep down, enjoy Saturday Night Fever, Xanadu, and Not Another Teen Movie more. Not that Un Homme Qui Dort is bad, but, you surely understand.
shit taste watch more kino and you will be able to pick up why people call you a pleb i use to have similar taste then i transcended
