My personal favourite carpenter movie tbqh
It's not even close to being the best Carpenter film.
It's certainly his most rewatchable film. I'd still put The Thing as his best over it, though.
Its my favorite too but I love all of Carpenters work.
What is in your opinion?
Literally incorrect
80's pothead JC had arguably the best run of any director.
wtf
> ywn have a Big Trouble in Little China saturday morning cartoon where Jack and Wang and a talking anthropomorphic semi have to stop Lo Pan's evil plan for the week.
It may not be carpenter's best film on a technical level, but it has the most soul
This
Can't even think of anyone else who comes close
cattrall really was beautiful
BASED
carpenter kino coming through
Scott Pilgrim was nothing to you?
How dare you even compare that garbagè to kino BTILC
So aesthetic
Wew lad.
my personal favorite movie
>What is in your opinion?
Not the guy you were asking but "They Live" is his best, IMO.
Same
Same.
>wanna know what i say when its miller time?
He even edges out Scorsese. Absolutely fucking criminal that he doesn't get his due recognition.
They Live is excellent, one of my other personal faves.
His directing has such a sweet touch to it I dont think anyone will ever be able to replicate his work.
Same though I list it and Raising Arizona as 1 and 1A. I will never pass up watching either if I see they're on TV.
also the music he composed is as good as the movies themselves

this. the thing works on the fifth rewatch. how anyone says it lacks soul makes no sense
they live is so strange. rody piper is the only actor who could make that role work the way it does.
big trouble is very fun so many actors given a bunch of time to ham it up as far as they can take it
his other movies kinda fall apart if you look to hard at them.
