If dumbledore knew there where going to be last minute point adjustments, why did he announce a winner before totalling the points? Like he literally just did that to fuck with slytherin, which makes no sense in the grand scheme because Snape was actually his bro the whole time.

I actually replayed the first three games recently just for nostalgia kick, the PC ones.
PS is really weird. It's sort of enjoyable but terrible at the same time, it's very linear and awkward and the time scale adaptation of the book is hilariously random (he learns like 4 spells, sees Norbert's egg, gets the remembrall back from Malfoy and joins the Quidditch team, then has HIS FIRST MATCH, all on the very first day of school).

Chamber of Secrets was actually fun though, fixes the problems with the first game and gives you a hub to gradually unlock, like a Metroidvania.

Azkaban was a pretty big jump technically and it was pretty solid but really short. It just sort of stops when you're expecting hours more of gameplay.
I've never played the games past that, I know they changed all the gameplay and I've no nostalgia for them so they'll probably just be bad movie games to me.

It's infuriating in the first game because it's completely linear and you can't even go back one room, so if you miss even one bean or wizard card that's it, can't get them for that playthrough
