One day marvel movies will be considered classics
The user base on this board won't have to worry about it because you'll all be dead before 2030
Only a handful.
>iron man 1
>avengers 1
>winter soldier
>infinity war
Rest are already forgotten
Why?
I don’t think so lol
I don't want to start a capeshit thread so someone answer me: in endgame going back in time forks the universe into parallel timelines but at the end the universe decided to make an exception and captain murrica was allowed to stay in the "main" timeline? Did I get that right?
God I hope that’s true
I don't think so. At least not in the way you're thinking as in excellent film classics.
I think they're going to go down in history as just that, history. As this thing that made unprecedented money in the business, but ultimately died out. Like dance movies from pre-WWII, or cheesy westerns, or big budget musicals.
These have their fans, sure, and some are considered classics just like a few of the Marvel movies will be considered real "classics". But I think most will go down as your random Fred Astaire picture, or your Hello Dolly's, something for future historians to look at as wow, this phenomenon happened.
Raimis Spiderman is going to be a classic. Not MCU shit
They'll probably be remembered in the same way 80s action movies are today.
They already are classics. Thanos himself is a masterpiece of a character.
Pretty much this. There are to fucking many for them to all be classics in the future. Those ones are the only memorable ones
Some will be for sure. Its strange how the old universal monster movies got brushed aside cause they made so many sequels, then they made all the more monstery ones of the 50's and people forgot how much of a classic dracula or frankenstein was
I'm worried that capeshit will do to movies the same thing it did to comic books.
It will be the only thing people think of when you say "movie".
People will say things like
>I don't like movies
>There are movies about things other than superheroes?
putting the magic rocks back puts the timelines back together
Ancient one literally makes a sparkling diagram of this idea and everyone missed it because people are dumb as rocks
they already are.
I remember watching the Avengers when I was 11. It was one of the first movies I ever saw in a cinema
no
I thought they already were considered classics?
there will be a couple of people who reminisce of them and they will be the same people who today still have shitty folk singer cover band LPs that they aren't able to sell for 10 cents on a flea market
This, so much. Cap just didn´t take the back trip.
That capeshit actually did the best time-traveler bullshit story of them all, but people simply ARE too stupid to understand it.
Or I am MUCH smarter than I thought, which I find hard to believe.
There's literally already people that feel that way about Black panther and Spider-verse
