Hydra was originally founded as a cult that worshipped an Inhuman named Hive that was banished to another planet by the Kree. Hydra's purpose was to get Hive back so it could take over the world.

When they couldn't do so, they began the mission to take over the world themselves whilst they await the return of their exiled God. They're not racist because they weren't Nazis, they just used Nazi Germany as a way of extending their reach, just like they did with SHIELD.

In a way I suppose Captain Marvel was better than Jessica Jones. Now that was terrible Marvel shit.

First group were dressed in combat gear, which is understandable because they are combat agents, one of whom Cap knows personally. But they are gripping their weapons, which is odd given they are just riding an elevator, rather than preparing for a fight.

The second group are in suits, effectively in disguise. But the black guy is sweating, suggesting he's nervous about what will happen next.

The final group are dressed as maintenance workers, but the guy in front of Cap has his hair clean cut and gelled, suggesting he is ready to engage in a fight.

Put it all together and you have the makings of an ambush.

Weirdly enough both Cap Marvel and new Hellboy had the worst soundtracks I've ever seen for any film capeshit including. They were both too on the nose with their nostalgia pop. I would've fired the sound designers of both films.
