Of all these only the shining and christine are worth anything and that simply because they had good directors.

Stuff like tommyknockers. cujo, firestarter and dreamcatcher in particular are all still going to be terrible regardless of how closely or loosely they follow the novel, because the stories are trash and unoriginal on a fundamental level.
