Why cartoon characters never have kids? Why it's always an uncle or a guardian? Why not make bugs the father of the tiny bunnies?
Why cartoon characters never have kids? Why it's always an uncle or a guardian...
Goofy and Max, checkmate. Next thread!
homer and marge??
Are they a couple?
Parents are deadweight in children's media.
that fucking logo is terrifying.
They want to destroy the family unit.
Anyone else had a crush on Babs?
Shirley was best loon.
Because:
A) It allows a little more narrative freedom (e.g. “Uncle Donald’s going on a date”)
B) That would imply that the iconic characters are fucking off-screen, and thus impure, and thus less marketable (at least back in the days when that trope was commonplace)
peter griffin
homer simpsons
dexter's mom and dad
timmy turner's mom and dad
these are all actoons characters
the tiny toons bunnies weren't even related, idiot
mmmmmm hhhmmmmmmmm
No
Imagine the smell
Did she only chase Furball?
I like how they literally had to spell out she's a skunk there. Like the audience is too dumb to tell.
because kids don't like to go on adventures with their parents, but a lot of kids have a cool uncle they like to hang out with or look up to
if they're parents it involves a level of responsibility that undermines comedic situations. Uncle Donald being led into wacky hijinks by his nephews due to his shitty guardianship is funny. If he was their dad, it'd be grossly irresponsible and he'd be a shitty parent, which means they would be getting raised by that shitty parent all the time, and thats dark
Flintstones
Jetsons
I wish a woman would do that to me.
No.
Minerva > Fifi
Here you go user.
cute
Boobies :3
Julie Brown was hot as fuck.
buster and babs are not related
Scrooge has a granddaughter
How the fuck did Goofy get away with being a dad? He was like the last character you'd expect to have ever seen a woman naked and everything about him would have made you guess "weird uncle." And yet it worked perfectly. The people who make cartoons were too cowardly with all the other characters.
There is so much hecking porn of Fifi.

You know goofy used to represent the every man and had a son before max even? His wife used to be the cities bike too
>that prom episode
>plucky and the valley girl chick are at the building entrance
>"you know, we dont have to go inside, my dads car is right outside..."
>"yeah, i know, your dad is in it, he just drove us here"
>pan to the car and dad waving goodbye
Jesus, she really gave him a whiff
When you just KNOW the animators had fun animating a certain scene
Sneed and Chuck?
Any time you give animators an excuse to draw anthro girls with big tits they will do it. It doesn't even matter if they say they're a furry or not, all of them have it in them somewhere deep down.
heaven
this just HAD to be animated by these niggas, its got that slight anime vibe to it
>keep rewinding and fast forwarding the first second of this webm
seriously, flintstones had them through the course of the show and we got to see them grow up.
>cities bike
>not town tart
It explains them not always being around.
Main characters in fiction are rarely parents, in any medium.
based and ratpilled
Sylvester has a son

It's like everyone knows parenthood is like death.
as is there's a podcast just for animaniacs
Probably want to keep them relatable for kids in the audience and not have their actions seem weird. Cartoon violence and dressing in drag and whatnot takes on a different dimension when the character is a parent.
It does raise the question what kinda shitty parent Della is who leaves her kids with her temperamental unstable, constant unlucky brother
How the fuck are cartoons from 30 years ago betting looking than the garbage they have on tv for kids today? That was one of the TMS episodes, wasn't it? The animation is fantastic.
>Why cartoon characters never have kids?
Why can't you mongoloids speak English?
more white people working on them instead of penny pinching kikes and women
You actually had to have talent and not just pay Cal Arts 100k for a degree
Truth here.
Spending your whole childhood with nutjob parents is quite dark. Spending the occasional weekend with the nutjob uncle is funny.
