How will Palpatine return?

>an illusion similar to Darth Bane
>Sith spells/magic he used before
>magic similar to the Night Sisters
>influence similar to how The Father, The Son, and The Sister influeced the Cosmic Force after their deaths
>simply old Holocrons
>physical reincarnation

So many options, how will they do it?

you missed out
>he's just there with no explanation and if you ask JJ he'll call you an incel

don't know
don't care
won't see it
fuck nu-wars

>drinking coca cola
>sup dudes

>How will Palpatine return?
Considering how desperate Lucasfilm is, Sheev will return either as a...
>holocron recording
>Sith Wraith (upcoming nu-Wars story detailing how Sith can have Force Ghosts now)
>phylactery with his essence stored within, possibly in his throne on the Death Star 2
>clone, and Smoke was one of his copies
>spirit possessing one of the Knights of Ren
>person pretending to be Sheev
Either way, it'll be lazy and invalidate Anakin's sacrifice completely.

Bane?

he learned Darth Plagueis' secret to cheat death by moving to new host bodies
"Snoke" was his most recent host body but it was destroyed

>Did you ever hear the tragedy of Darth Plagueis The Wise? I thought not. It's not a story the Jedi would tell you. It's a Sith legend. Darth Plagueis was a Dark Lord of the Sith, so powerful and so wise he could use the Force to influence the midichlorians to create life… He had such a knowledge of the dark side that he could even keep the ones he cared about from dying. The dark side of the Force is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural. He became so powerful… the only thing he was afraid of was losing his power, which eventually, of course, he did. Unfortunately, he taught his apprentice everything he knew, then his apprentice killed him in his sleep. Ironic. He could save others from death, but not himself.

They have literally filmed a Sith ghost haunting Luke after he opened up to the force in TLJ and originally this was what sprung him into action, not feeling bad for Rey. They cut it all, though.
Should've left him there. I can't believe I'm advocating for a mystery box, but it wouldn't have hurt to have at least one thread for the movie kept open.

>They have literally filmed a Sith ghost haunting Luke after he opened up to the force in TLJ and originally this was what sprung him into action

Source on this retardation other than your ass

>how will they do it?
In a stupid, unimaginative way.

This

It's going to be Christopher Waltz and he'll have just spontaneously created himself from the force and none of the characters will question or wonder about it because this is a modern Hollywood film made by one of the most incompetent hacks in the industry. He's just going to roll in and it will barely be explained.

This kinda just clicked with me...it make a lot of sense.

Snoke was so similar to Palpatine, the way the first order was run and his throne room.

Vader “killed” Palatine
Kylo “killed” Snoke

Its all part of Palpatines plan, doesn’t the apprentice always strive to kill his master?

Just like with Luke, he used Vader to get to him.
He’s using Kylo to get to Rey. There’s something in this corruption of Luke and Rey that he needs.

Ever since Kylo killed Snoke I believed Snoke or the person possessing Snoke made that happen, it was a set up.

Jedi have force ghosts
Sith have possession

Wait... wait.... wait. OMFG

It’s not Palpatine, there hasn’t been a Palatine in any of the movies.

Darth Plagueis the wise found a way to cheat death.... It’s always been Plagueis he was in possession of Palpatine and Snoke.

It’s a way to subvert the rule of two. So he can control from the shadows. Darth and Luke were meant to rule. As he’s trying with Kylo and Rey.

It’s the ying and yang of the force, dark and light together with him ruling from the shadows. It’s also the rule of two and balance of the force at the same time or a corruption of it all. Anyone, see this?

Someone’s knocking at my door I’ll be right back..

Art of The Last Jedi.
After reading it again I'm not sure if it was filmed, only that it had to go away because the script/movie (depending on the stage it was nixxed at) was too long.

this is literally the only thing that would make sense

YA'LL NIGGAS NEED SOME [DARK EMPIRE]. as USUAL the Expanded Universe has already covered this, better, and in-depth, in ways the mouse will never be able to comprehend, let alone crudely mimic. In Dark Empire it is revealed that Palpatine's spirit never died, but travelled the void to his secret cloning facility, where he had young cloned bodies of himself just waiting for him to re-possess. His original goal with the skywalker lineage, was not to use them as his right-hand man, but to clone and posess, "upgrading" himself into a body with a bajillion times more midicloreans than his own high midiclorean body. First he wanted anakin, then he wanted luke, and later on he wanted Leia's children, so he could be a super sexy hot loli sith lord. tldr, he wanted to become the little girl.

Darth Bane?

He comes back as a woman and reveals he was secretly a woman the entire time and "Palpatine" was just a body she was possessing through the force.

EU post RotJ story was absolutely retarded, not to say that Mouse canon is much better.
The only thing EU was good at was prequels era stories which was what singlehandedly kept Star Wars relevant even after the movies stopped coming out.
You know I'm right.

>not including the option of his force ghost possessing a clone body
Into the trash compactor you go, OP.

>EU post RotJ story was absolutely retarded, not to say that Mouse canon is much better.

um no sweetie, the EU is the best part of the star wars universe and yer a brainlet faggot who has probably not even read the kino that is dark empire, tales of the jedi, new jedi order, young jedi knights, the jedi academy trilogy, the corellian trilogy, or the x-wing series.

>Being blinded by nostalgia this much.
There's nothing wrong with enjoying endless clones of every relevant character in the saga, along with Palpatine's ripped son with a triangle instead of head (I think he was called Triclops?). There were some great stories told in the ot-EU, but the vast majority of it was absymal which dragged the whole thing down.

exact opposite. 90% of the EU was great, especially from the mid 90s and through the prequel era. only a handful of bad books/plots and triclops was from a fucking non-canon children's series on par with Goosebumps. confirmed for being a zoomer who watched youtubes to get his opinion. i literally demanded to be taught how to read when i was in kindergarden so i could read Heir to the Empire when it came out.
