I get preferring that over Infinite because it's so different but for me Infinite was a really beautiful gameworld. The first half was really nice. I don't care for bleak depressing environments. Gimme color and aesthetics.

Infinite had interesting concept art, but the story was nowhere near the first ones. Infinite felt like a box office flop of a scifi movie while Bioshock 1 felt like a horror in between a documentary movie about the 1920s mafia.
