I'm around halfway through the season and so far it seems like they're really slacking on thinking about that. Older seasons had constant thorough searches, cavity searches, lock-downs, etc. Now someone can OD, someone else gets thrown off a balcony, a phone is heard, and they just do a quick once-over with dogs and ask "Did I just hear a phone? No? Okay." They excuse some of this by just having it accepted that specific guards are so thoroughly corrupted, but there's no tension. They never stop to play up the risks. There's some surface references like "Uh oh, if I get caught, that's bad!" but everyone is so off in their own secure worlds.

Did you watch the show at all user? That was the jailhouse lawyer broad that was in the ICE detention center who helped the uggo Hispanic woman from the original prison with her case. It was just more ORANGE MAN BAD horseshit. They deported her so she was trying to sneak back in to 'murica
