Just started rewatching Battlestar Galactica again for like the fifth or sixth time. What am I in for?

don't think I'll ever be into a show as much as S1&S2 of BSG

A quasi disappointing last season

You're in for Kino, that's what. So say we all.

Top tier TV with a disappointing last season

The best show on TV for 2 seasons.

Three seasons of “fuck this is fucking great” then a sense of increasing disappointment, ending in disgust and self-loathing that you’ve been cheated all along.

The cylons do not have a plan

jesus did it all, gg

We got incoming Yea Forums, Shitposters bringing in two SneedStars.

Pitch me a better ending

>WHY ARE THERE WOMAN PILOTS
>REEE, WHY ARE THERE BLACK PEOPLE
>REEEEEEEEEEEEE
>WHY DID THEY CHANGE THE PILOTS GENDER
>REEEEE

You didn't like the after school specials of season three?

I never got why people have issues with female pilots
If anything, due to how movement in space works, their lower weight would make them better suited than males

BTW I just now got up to the part where Starbuck tells Adama it was her fault Zach died.

Imagine her also telling Adama she cucked Zach with his other son and then told Adama he had a micro-penis.

One of the things I didn't like was there were way too many "I guess you're wondering how I got here" episodes. Where the show begins right in the middle of the action and then immediately goes back a few hours or days.

>BSG finds Earth
>planet is a desolate wreck, with only the barest remains of human cities
>decide to use it as a base to rebuild human civilization
>Final Five tell them, sorry, not going anywhere
>hyperdrives no longer work because the Cylons sabotaged them
>surrounded by a Cylon fleet out of fucking nowhere
>Felix Gaeta was right
>New Caprica was only a dry run to see how humans might escape captivity
>Cylons want to maintain a single, captive population of humans in case the genetic material is needed
>leave, say we'll be waiting for you if you try to escape
>flash forward thousands of years
>last moon landing in the 1970s
>astronaut finds a Cylon artifact explaining humanity's plight
>this is why we never went past the lunar surface
>the end

Better, but mostly because Gaeta was right and did nothing wrong.

One of the last, great things the series did was Gaeta's "Face of the Enemy" episode (actually, "webisodes")...it showed how alien and utilitarian the Cylons thought processes were.

I was positive the final season would reveal he was correct to fear and hate them, and kept watching until the end, but it was just SJW-tier faggotry...Cylons dindu nuffin, they good robots.

Man idk he got shit on so much, like I hate how Kara was so smug with him or didn't even apologise for trying to airlock him and then her husband blows his leg off? ngl Gaeta deserved more justice, the guy did his job, tried to get along with everyone, looked up to Gaius early on because he was interested in his line of work, watches his friend shoot herself in the head.

Seriously fuck Cylons, fuck Starback.
