why not just bury the franchise already?

>"war" between clones and robots where one guy controls both sides
Most boring war in the history of fiction.
People who like Clone Wars stuff were just the GI Joe army obsessed kids at school except they were faggot nerds that couldn't even be interested in anything close to real soldier stuff most non fag kids liked.
>implying they only fought robots
bruh just set the movie on Umbara then, they fought local insurgents all the time
>where one guy controls both sides
kino
>bruh just set the movie on Umbara then, they fought local insurgents all the time
Didn't happen in movies so non-canon
Go read a book faggot LOL
it literally is canon though cunt
the cgi clone wars was literally what you are describing
>muh super gritty war movie in a franchise meant to make billions of dollars from kids
Grow up, there are plenty of movies that show the horrors of war that aren't in your childhood obsession
No no user, he wants his star wars GRITTY so that it can finally be mature and cool, because star wars really needs to be GRITTY
It ain't sheev starts playing

but are those movies set in space?
I'm down for a space war movie in any setting really

user, stop being a zoomer.
zoomers do not want actual war movies, it scares them too much, they prefer capeshit
Do the clones even have different, distinct personalities that would actually make a film like this interesting? What do people who are literally exact genetic copies of each other have to say to among themselves? If it's just a bunch of generic Jango Fetts fighting generic robots it sounds like it'd be pretty boring desu.
Lots of clones are distinct from each other
How? Aren't they all just copies of Jango Fett?
they developed distinct personalities yeah and they all got tattoos and different haircuts to distinguish themselves
the Jedi commanders pretty much let them all go wild with their armor paint too
Experiences shape people in different ways, even exact clones of one person. While they may all be at war, the experiences of a clone trooper flying a starfighter in the core worlds defense will not be the same as one combing the jungles of a fringe world for insurgents. The clone wars are in fact a very interesting take on war and how different events can shape one person taken to the literal extreme, which the Clone Wars cartoon represents rather well.
Just be excited this wooden puppet show is getting a 6th season you fucking zoomer.
to be fair Rogue One was 'gritty' and did it really well
even if they start with the same exact genetic template they're not going to have all the same memories as Jango and thus not be anything like him beyond genetics.
you are a product of experience AND genetics
To be fair, Rogue One was embarrassing Star Wars porn for manchildren
*7th season
Besides, its gonna be shit
8 episodes of Ahsokawank AND toned down violence for toddlers
I dont ask for decapitations and shit, but not even killing someone with a lightsaber slash to the chest?
>embarrassing
how
>Space combat
"Lot of Empire stuff to catch up on."
"Leia Organa was shopping for space groceries when this happened..."
they did violent shit all the time in the original 6 seasons, it was shocking for a kids show quite frankly
did Mouseberg order them to tone it down?
Just like the war on terror
>and then...and then...b2-7-11 died taking a shot from the squadron of robots while protecting his friend 45-gh-45......it's not fair!!!
It had genuinely shocking elements to it, yes, but both the animation and dialogue have it stuck as a kids show. I got into it when I was a teenager and even then I remember cringing at how stupid some of it was (though to be fair literally every Star Wars property has been like that, with the possible exceptions of KOTOR and the Star Wars: The Clone Wars).
Every Vader scene.
The glib facsimile “original” score.
The attempt to “fix” a (nonexistent) plothole created actual plot holes
>hating the best nu wars film by a mile
Found the TLJ fan
Unironically adorab
they have names my guy, and Baker knows how to give them all distinct vocal characteristics to tell them apart
Adorable* - autopost feature is dumb.
ok but how is it "embarrassing".
those are just reasons you might not have liked it.
the 10 seconds of vader was the only good thing about it. the real embarrassment was the CGI tarkin/leia.
Is it not embarrassing if an established actress has to resort to porn?
>Platoon but Star Wars
no that's hot
It's a Clone Battalion burns and rapes an entire Twi'lek village episode
twileks were on the republic's side though
>rapes
Twi'lek men simply can't compete in reality
I'd watch this show if the art wasn't so ja(w)rring
The planet was occupied by separatists and even had separatist loyalists
TRAITOR
Thank you for your image OP!
I wonder who's behind this post?
I’m still confused as to how they are at all genetically compatible
twileks are near-human, so they can fuck humans and there's no issue.
the clone isn't the father, though. the kids are probably as old as the clone is, if not older.
>Rogue One was 'gritty'
No it wasn’t.
>and did it really well
No they didn’t.
Being the best piece of shit is not an accomplishment
great arguments well done
Fuck it. The show had some bright spots but was for the most part complete shit. The Clone Wars is a horrendously boring war because it’s literally just clones, robots, and some Jedi at risk. The Galactic Civil War at least involves real people.
The Clone Wars 2003 cartoon was really great. Probably the best thing to come out of the prequels era.
