Evil Dead unironically

Nice choice! So what is your ironic opinion?

the witch

bump

What are some kinos about Yea Forums fags joining each other once a week to watch kinos together

In terms of sheer comfiness, Poltergeist, and it's not even close for me. The first Jeepers Creeps and Candyman spring to mind as well.

cytube

Alien.

Something about the nostromo is so comfy to me, until the seizure inducing self destruct scene

Slugs. Not a great movie but comfy nonetheless.

the Silent Hill movie
Halloween 2
kairo
comfy as all heck

The Ring

Pretty comfy, Yea Forums hardcore tryhards will call it reddit tho. The Thing and john carpenter in general does the trick for me. The Terror is top comfy, and technically terror.

>The Terror is top comfy, and technically terror
not a film but correct nonetheless

>The Terror
So is a second season actually coming out or what?

>Angel Heart
>Cat People
>Skeleton Key
always looking for more comfy Southern Gothic

Attached: image.jpg (720x960, 112K)

>NoES 2
>Not Dream Warriors
fuckin sad

Yeah, doesnt look too bad from the trailer but I doubt it will reach season 1

>mfw I just now realize there's been a trailer out since june
Fuck, thanks.

Both Silent Hill movies are some of the most offensive pieces of shit I've ever seen as a fan of the games. They should have just called it something different and said it was inspired by the games.

Yeah, definitely doesn't seem like it will top the first one. A shame. Might still be good though, we'll see.

Halloween
Return of the Living Dead
The Strangers (Fuck you it's great)
The Thing

Im a huge fan of the games and liked 1 alot, its like a 6/10 movie but its propably the best vidya adaptation ever made. It just mangled all plots together but it somewhat worked. Second movie is horrible.

the bay

The Thing

fuck yea. Angel Heart is so underrated

May
An American Werewolf in London
Motel Hell
Blood Diner
Re-Animator
The Blob (Original and 80's remake)
Night of the Creeps

Comforting horror is an oxymoron.

>>Angel Heart
Looks kino as fuck. Thanks.

>The first Jeepers Creeps
Pretty good, shame about the sequels, though.

>comfy
>horror
if a horror movie is comfy then its a shity horror movie and it's doing something wrong

This and The Sixth Sense are both extremely comfy for me.

Alien 1-4

Yikes!

>Night of the Creeps

Fuck yeah. This movie has to be the top comfy horror movie ever made.

Anybody seen pic related?
I watched The Midnight Meat train last night. It was decent.

>Silent Hill movie
Play the first two games for ultimate comfy.

Psycho, so many levels of terror.

Hitchcock made a genre.

Keep in mind you deluded fucks that that shit had never been done before. Don't be a cunt is what I'm asking. Peace out Ed Guein.

The Cat and the Canary (1927)
The Invisible Man (1933)
The Corpse Vanishes (1942)
The Screaming Skull (1958)
The Tingler (1959)

The Fog is peak Comfy-Carpenter-Kino

Attached: 94.png (1427x835, 1.05M)

Nobody here hates Hitchcock buddy, you can relax.

I honestly view The Fog as one of carpenters lesser films, probably the worst one he did in the 80s

Attached: image.jpg (1935x2936, 668K)

the first movie was fine, they just recombobulated the story/themes from the first 3 games and made an original story that wasn't very strong but it evokes the feel of the games pretty well which is what I like most about it
it's also cool because they just straight up use akira yamaoka's music
the movie's not amazing but fuck if it ain't comfy
I have, the movie's good for a quick dose of the aesthetics of the series

>Shining
>Jacobs Ladder
>Perfect Blue
>Fire Walk With Me
>Solaris
>Dark Water
>Halloween
>Nightmare on Elmstreet

>comfy horror

Cure (1997)
Ginger Snaps (2000)
Inferno (1980)
The Wailing (2016)
Don't Look Now (1973)
Profondo Rosso (1975)

What genre did Hitchcock make?

Slasher

Also, The Addiction (1995).

Maybe the best horror film of the 90s in general.

Suspense.

The Black Cat (1934) and The Raven (1935) make a pretty comfy horror double feature

>The Strangers (Fuck you it's great)
It could have been a lot better, but it has the best use of non-original music in a horror movie.

I saw Rear window and Rope and they were pretty shitty.

Jacob's Ladder isn't even horror

Anything with Lugosi is comfy kino.

But its awesome creepy.

Dog Soldiers, a bunch friends couped up in a cottage fighting off werewolves is cozy

Attached: fullwidth.8d3f3c8e.jpg (970x595, 448K)

Would Seed of Chucky count as horror? Feel like it's more a comedy than horror, but either way it's incredibly comfy.

Sneed of Chuck

every fucking time

based

Dead of Night is maximum comfy

not pic related

What are some horror movies without jump scares? I think jump scares are lazy directing.

Leaving DC

Dark City. Pure neo-noir kino featuring top-tier cast and amazing art design. It came out a year before the Matrix and shares many similarities, and I would argue its more philosophically profound than it too.

Attached: 1540905280643.jpg (400x600, 94K)

Terror Train. The comfiest horror film ever made. Also Jaime Lee Curtis. Nuff said.

David Copperfield is in this movie which I always though was cool. Probably one of the better slashers out there for its cast and all it's gimmicks.

Some of you people have some pretty peculiar definitions of the word "comfy" huh.

Jacob's ladder is unironically comfy for some reason, must the be the 90s look

Join the stream, it is on right now

Unpopular opinion: Hellbound is the only good Hellraiser (and one of the comfiest films ever)

I've only seen the first one, it had a great first half but a really terrible second.

Grave Encounters is my comfy horror movie.
Bad Ben is extremely comfy too but it’s more of a comedy than a horror movie.

>Found Footage
Yikes!

treasure your ipad while you have it fren.
I miss my boo everyday...

Fuck your little reddit online picnic get together. You guys are a bunch of queers and i reported that sketchy ass website to the proper authorities. Get dabbed on, city slickers.

Creepshow 2
House II: The Second Story
Bad Ronald
Don't Go to Sleep (#1 must see)
Spellbinder 1988

>Ginger Snaps
Muh nigga.
Comfiest movie about menstruation ever.

The Old Dark House from 1936

The Hidden Hand from 1944 (that nig servant is bananas!)

youtube.com/watch?v=7gCqecCwU34

Incredible how dark, funny and spooky these movies are today

spoken like a low IQ faggot that has a certain website living rent free in his head.
again, I can’t blame you because you don’t have the mental capacity required to do anything but spout memes and worthless no u tier replies

The Haunting (1963) and The Wolf Man come to mind. Phantasm and Halloween even though you see a palm tree in the background now and then. The Old Dark House has a lot of atmosphere.

>i only like bonechilling slow burns

Can't we just agree that you both acting like butthurt plebbitors and move on with our lives?
