Best South Park episode hands down.
this was amazing, but Over Logging is my fave.
*blocks your path*
Worst North Building season hands up
100% agree. I laughed and fucking laughed at this one back in the day
Where did it all go wrong for South Park? It used to be the best animated show on TV post-Simpsons season 9.
It had a really good run, every show eventually just starts running out of ideas or the writers start to lose passion.
This one and the World of Warcraft episode
>ideas
South Park was never an ideas show. It was either social commentary or a stupid fun plot like Cartman pretending to be a robot, which is very easy to conceive.

Are you me?
Trey's wife's black son
The most recent season was pretty good aside from the weak ending
feet* up, fucking idiot
>The most recent
no
>We never got a video of him singing this song in the recording booth
Feels bad
the song is actually fucking kino, it feels so anime yet its a parody. i unironically have it labeled in the anime genre on my iphone and listen to it regularly
>tfw havent found a hq mp3 download of it though
Aren't Matt & Trey lefty and SJWs now?
I always thought it was interesting how they used to be conservatives, which made them extremely unique among TV show writers. There's no way their episodes making fun of global warming or Al Gore would fly today.
Can we all agree this is the most kino song in South Park?
my god you are sad
Mike Judge is better, but I love these cunts.
They were never conservatives. It kind of felt that way as a kid though. Like they'd make racist jokes towards blacks and youd think it was mean spirited but then you grow up and realise it was commentary not direct hate. They have gotten more lefty though and I don't like it
Chef fucking died and mr.slave got retconned.
When they began writing season-long storylines. That meant that if you thought the storyline was shit, you were out of luck.
Got really annoying with PC principal and everything that came afterwards.
They literally shilled for communism in the last two episodes without a hint of irony.
They drank the kool aid and constantly make episodes about how old episodes were wrong (Douche and Turd, Climate Change/Manbearpig). The episode where they defend the word fag or the episode ripping on trannies would not fly today
south park was shit long before that
I disagree. Sure, some episodes were better and others were worse. But starting with Season 18 and definitely with Season 19, I stopped watching newer episodes altogether. The whole "season long story arc" shtick is awful.
season 11 episode 3
They've literally said on more than one occasion in interviews that they're conservative. Even in a relatively recent interview post-Trump election win.
It was bad before that.
Season 10 was arguably a high point (except for A Million Little Fibers which was complete garbage). Season 11 was a mixed bag; Imaginationland was ok but they were trying way too hard. Season 12 was pretty damn bad all the way through.
When they made fun of our president. Literally dropped that shit so fast, no reason for a cartoon to spew political garbage.
Didn't know that literally shook
Just remember the one where they said they hate conservatives and really hate liberals or some shit
dis
True best episode coming through
It used to be a goofy, surrealist adult cartoon with occasional funny libertarian-leaning political comedy.
Eventually it shifted into being more and more topical to the story of the week and forgot about the offbeat humor the series was known for. It's sort of become like the Simpsons, although less celebrity cameos.
Trey and Matt regret making that episode.
Speaking of celeb cameos I'm sure I read that George Clooney guest starred in one of the episode as a dog. They had George Clooney offer to be on the show and they made him bark a few times, or something like that anyway. And they did it because it was funny, and it was. I think the problem is they just stopped finding it funny. It's easier to write what's in the news than put effort into something you don't enjoy anymore.
Hah, you fucking clown, they mocked multiple presidents dozens of time you Trump sucking fuckstool.
South Park was actually known for not really mocking the president that much before or taking sides in politics.
They made fun of presidents a bit but these were single episodes or single gags before Trump. They also really weren't making moral judgement on any of them, up until Trump.
Team America barely even mentions Bush during the peak of outrage about his presidency and the Iraq War. They always said it was boring to just make the same jokes about Bush like everybody else.
They mocked trannies, SJWs, and liberals as well though.
>South Park was actually known for not really mocking the president that much before or taking sides in politics.
Remember that episode where they mocked Hillary Clinton?
When was the "Golden Age" of South Park? I feel it peaked later than the Simpsons but has reached similar levels of zombie shit in recent years.
Season 1:
ok
Seasons 2 - 5:
Good
Season 6 - 12?
Golden Age?
5-10
remember when user said single episodes or single gags?
went to shit after season 8 got extra worse after 11 also season 2 sucks pretty hard but not in the same way
yes we can
>mocking the president
>Remember that episode where they mocked Hillary Clinton?
user, I have some bad news for you...
2020 faggot.
4-10 so pretty much the same as Simpsons. The first three seasons are unwatchable shit and the quality dropped very fast after season 10. 11 is already pretty bad and 12 manages to turn back into unwatchable shit.
The WoW episode, "The New Terence and Phillip Movie Trailer " or "Scott Tenorman's Must Die". Top 3.
i was almost positive they came out as republicans last year or so. i could be wrong though.
But that isn't Lil' Crimestoppers.
Kick assu
based
there's a few "covers" of it on spotify
going there as a kid multiple times due to school trips and then seeing this episode later blew my fucking mind
>It's easier to write what's in the news than put effort into something you don't enjoy anymore
The show had a limited lifespan once they started doing social commentary. They made fun of very broad themes like bad language, violence, drugs, etc. You can make more specific episodes within each category like an episode specifically about weed, but eventually you run out of stuff. When that happened they shifted to whatever events were in the news and started getting to preachy and it went to shit.
